Our major telecommunications and media client is seeking a Social Media Content Creator who can develop engaging, platform-optimized content that aligns with brand voice and current social trends. This role requires strong creative judgment, excellent writing skills, and the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and passionate about social media, entertainment, and digital storytelling.
The Basics
- Duration: 8 months; through end of 2026
- Hours: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week
- Location: onsite: Stamford, CT
Top 3 Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on social media content creation experience across major platforms.
- Strong writing, video editing, and visual content creation skills, including Adobe Creative Suite proficiency.
- Proven ability to develop platform-specific strategies, analyze performance data, and optimize content for engagement.
Other Qualifications
- Experience producing short-form video and behind-the-scenes content
- Understanding of social media trends, best practices, and audience behavior
- Experience using scheduling and analytics tools
- Ability to collaborate across creative, marketing, communications, PR, and external agency teams
- Comfort working under tight deadlines and managing multiple projects
- Familiarity with organic and paid social media advertising
- Passion for pop culture, streaming, movies, TV, and professional sports
Key Responsibilities
- Create and curate engaging content for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest
- Write concise, on-brand copy for posts, campaigns, and multimedia assets
- Develop graphics, images, and visual templates for social media
- Edit and produce videos, collaborating with internal video editors as needed
- Execute social media strategies that support brand and business goals
- Develop assets for organic and paid social media campaigns
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to inform optimization and future planning
- Partner with community management to understand audience needs and feedback
- Support influencer strategy by collaborating with influencer agencies and internal teams
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
