SUMMARY: The Social Media/Marketing Promotions Coordinatorisresponsible for supporting and executing the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel’s social media and marketing initiatives. This role works closely with the Social Media Specialist and Marketing team to plan, create, implement, and evaluate social media content that supports brand awareness, guest engagement, and promotional campaigns. As Coordinator this position will assist in managing the Casino’s social media presence by creating and publishing content, monitoring engagement, and ensuring a consistent brand voice across all platforms. In addition, this role provides marketing coordination support including assisting with Casino promotions, events, and marketing projects, while helping maintain organization and workflow across the department using project management tools. This position requires someone with experience working with business or brand social media platforms who can contribute to content planning, audience engagement, and marketing initiatives. The role also requires flexibility to support promotional events, including evenings and weekends, as part of the casino’s marketing and guest engagement efforts.RESPONSIBILITIES:* Support the execution of a results-driven social media strategy that aligns with the Casino’s overall marketing and brand objectives.
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging social media content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and other emerging channels.
- Assist in planning and maintaining the social media content calendar in collaboration with the Social Media Specialist and marketing team.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to guest comments and messages, and support audience engagement while maintaining the Casino’s brand voice and guest service standards.
- Capture and produce photo and video content for social media, events, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
- Attend Casino events, promotions, concerts, and special events to capture live content and support marketing efforts.
- Monitor social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices to help inform content development and engagement strategies.
- Support influencer outreach and relationship development with local partners and industry professionals when appropriate.
- Coordinate marketing tasks and projects using department project management software such as Monday.com, ProofHub, or similar tools to help maintain organization and workflow across the Graphics team.
- Assist with planning, coordination, and on-site support for Casino promotions, special events, and marketing activities.
- Collaborate with marketing, graphics, and the promotions teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment across campaigns and marketing initiatives.
- Support operational marketing needs during promotional events, including evenings and weekends when required.
- Assist with promoting Casino events and promotions by engaging with guests on the casino floor, answering questions, and explaining promotional details.
- Provide on-site marketing support during promotions and events, including making announcements and assisting with guest engagement when needed.
PERCENTAGE OF DUTIES:* 65% social media
- 20% promotions
- 15% project coordination
**QUALIFICATIONS:*Education/Experience: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field preferred.
- Experience managing or contributing to a business, organization, or brand social media page required.
- Experience creating and publishing content across major social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
- Familiarity with project management software such as Monday.com, ProofHub, or similar workflow toolspreferred.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere Pro), Canva or similar digital media editing tools preferred.
Skills/Knowledge:* Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Basic knowledge of content planning, audience engagement, and maintaining brand voice across digital channels.
- Ability to create engaging written, photo, and video content for social media and marketing campaigns.
- Strong copywriting and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced marketing environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with marketing, graphics, promotions, and operational teams.
- Willingness and flexibility to support evening and weekend promotional events when required.
- High-energy personality with a strong focus on guest service and guest engagement.
- Comfortable speaking on a microphone and addressing groups of guests during promotions and special events.
- Ability to confidently explain promotions, events, and Casino offerings to guests in a clear and engaging manner.
- Outgoing, approachable demeanor with the ability to interact with guests in a positive and professional way.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy casino environment.
