About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and results-driven Social Media & Partnerships Specialist to own and grow our brand's presence across social platforms while driving revenue through affiliate marketing, influencer collaborations, and strategic PR outreach. This in-house role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves building relationships, and can blend organic content strategy with performance-driven partnerships.
You will manage day-to-day social media operations, develop engaging content, nurture community, and lead outreach efforts to affiliates, influencers, and media/PR contacts to amplify brand awareness, engagement, and sales.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) aligned with brand goals and marketing calendar.
- Create, curate, schedule, and publish high-quality, on-brand content (posts, stories, Reels, Threads, videos, carousels, etc.) to drive engagement, followers, and conversions.
- Monitor daily community interactions: respond to comments, DMs, reviews, and mentions promptly to build loyalty and manage reputation.
- Track trends, hashtags, and platform updates; adapt content and tactics to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (creative, product, e-commerce) to align social efforts with launches, promotions, and campaigns.
Affiliate Marketing
- Build, manage, and grow the affiliate program: recruit affiliates, set up tracking (e.g., via platforms like Impact, ShareASale, or Refersion), negotiate commissions, and provide assets/support.
- Monitor affiliate performance, optimize partnerships, resolve issues, and report on revenue generated, ROI, and top performers.
- Develop affiliate-specific campaigns, incentives, and communications to maximize promotions and sales.
Influencer & Creator Outreach
- Identify, research, and build relationships with relevant influencers, micro-influencers, and content creators in our niche.
- Manage outreach, negotiations (rates, deliverables, gifting, contracts), and campaign execution (product seeding, sponsored posts, takeovers, affiliate links).
- Track influencer performance (reach, engagement, conversions, UGC) and maintain a database of partners for ongoing and future collaborations.
Public Relations & Media Outreach
- Handle proactive PR outreach to journalists, bloggers, publications, and online media for earned coverage, features, and brand mentions.
- Draft press releases, pitch emails, media kits, and secure placements to boost visibility and credibility.
- Manage press inquiries, coordinate interviews, and track media results.
Analytics & Reporting
- Analyze social, affiliate, influencer, and PR performance using tools (Google Analytics, platform insights, affiliate dashboards, etc.).
- Provide regular reports with key metrics (engagement rates, reach, impressions, conversions, ROI, growth trends) and actionable recommendations.
- Identify opportunities for optimization and test new tactics to improve results.
Other
- Stay ahead of social media, influencer, affiliate, and digital PR trends.
- Support cross-functional marketing initiatives and occasional event/promotion support.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in social media management, ideally with direct experience in affiliate marketing, influencer partnerships, and/or PR outreach (in-house or agency).
- Proven track record of growing social audiences, driving engagement, and generating revenue through partnerships.
- Strong understanding of major platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) and tools (Hootsuite/Sprout Social/Buffer, Canva/Photoshop, Google Analytics, affiliate software, email outreach tools like Hunter or Mailchimp).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft compelling pitches, captions, emails, and contracts.
- Relationship-builder with strong negotiation and people skills.
- Analytical mindset: comfortable with data, KPIs, and performance tracking.
- Creative eye for content and brand storytelling.
- Self-starter who can manage multiple projects independently in a fast-moving environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (preferred but not required with strong experience).
- Bonus: Experience in [your industry, e.g., beauty, fashion, wellness, e-commerce]; familiarity with paid social/ads or SEO.
