PART-TIME SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER (APRIL-JULY)
Kayem Foods is seeking a part-time Social Media Manager for seasonal support (April-July). Estimating 15-20 hrs a week for this timeframe. This Manager will be responsible for planning and execution of social media campaigns, consumer and partnership outreach, and ongoing community management for the flagship brands, Kayem and Al Fresco All Natural, as well as content creation. The ideal candidate will be an expert across the primary social channels (Meta, Instagram, TikTok), have knowledge of emerging channels and audience, and be experienced in representing brands, whether as a social media manager or an established content creator or influencer. This candidate will be motivated, energetic, collaborative, and communicative as a member of the Integrated Marketing team, working in tandem with Brand Marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and execute a social media calendar on behalf of Kayem and Al Fresco (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok). Light engagement with the Corporate Brand (Kayem Foods) on LinkedIn. This includes building and executing a schedule, gaining approvals from the team, collaboration tagging, and running contests/giveaways.
- Adopt the respective brand voices and essence, and be our first line of communication of our brands to consumers.
- Ongoing community management across all accounts. This includes monitoring messages both in comments and direct messages, engaging with users who tag us/sharing their content, and working with internal teams to answer consumer questions. This also includes monitoring trending and relevant conversations for us to join, extending our reach and opportunity for discovery.
- Proactive outreach to creator and brand partners. Identify those who have strong audience and contextual fits, and form recommendations prior to outreach.
- Report on the performance of the channels. Establish the current baseline, and illustrate the benefits of performance through content, ongoing community management, and campaign delivery (e.g. reach, engagements, discovery).
- Light content creation (self-produced) required.
- Designer and AI tools available to assist in some of the content development.
- Activate paid social (boosted) campaigns to amplify content through Meta Business Manager and TikTok Ads
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree+
- 2-3 years experience as a Social Media Manager or Community Manager, with a marketing background. Creators/Influencers must demonstrate established following and ongoing engagement with brands and consumer audience.
- Expertise across Meta, Instagram, TikTok as well as their ad platforms.
- Proficient in content creation (video and imagery). Photoshop/Design tools experience is a plus.
- Proficient in copywriting. Must be able to communicate consistently (in post copy and messaging) in our brand voices.
- In-depth knowledge of social media audiences, platforms, and trends.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills.
- Creative and resourceful. Must be able to provide thoughtful recommendations and solutions.
- Must have 2 references that can speak to your experience and expertise.

Pay Range
The base pay range for this role is $30 - $48 USD/Hourly
The listed salary range represents Kayem Foods’ good faith estimate for this position and represents the minimum and maximum for new hire pay ranges.
Ranges are reviewed on a regular basis. An employee’s rate of pay within the range is determined by their qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated performance over time. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued wage growth. This position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package and is eligible for an annual wage review. Kayem Foods complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws.
