Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Manager to drive thought leadership, communications, and event programs for our embedded payments and value-added services solutions. This role is uniquely focused on engaging private equity and venture capital investors, as well as payments consultants who advise or manage portfolios of vertical software companies.
The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller and event strategist with a deep understanding of the software and payments landscape, and a proven track record of building relationships and influence within the PE/VC and consulting communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Thought Leadership & Content Creation
- Develop and execute a content strategy positioning Global Payments as a leader in embedded payments and value-added services for vertical software to a PE/VC and Payments Consultant audience.
- Create high-impact whitepapers, case studies, blogs, webinars, and presentations tailored for PE, VC, and consultants.
- Partner with subject matter experts to surface industry trends, best practices, and success stories.
- Strategic Communications
- Craft compelling messaging and narratives that resonate with investors and consultants, highlighting the value of embedded payments in portfolio growth and value creation.
- Manage targeted communications campaigns (email, social, industry publications, and direct outreach) to nurture relationships and drive engagement.
- Collaborate with PR and analyst relations to secure speaking opportunities and media placements.
- Events & Sponsorships
- Plan and execute executive roundtables, webinars, conference sessions, and bespoke events for PE/VC and consulting audiences.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage sponsorships and partnerships with relevant industry associations and events.
- Coordinate with sales and partnership teams to maximize event ROI and follow-up.
- Market Intelligence & Stakeholder Engagement
- Maintain a deep understanding of the PE/VC ecosystem, vertical SaaS trends, and competitive landscape.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, consultants, and portfolio company leaders.
- Gather feedback to inform product marketing, sales enablement, and go-to-market strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; MBA a plus.
- 5+ years of B2B2X marketing experience, ideally in payments, fintech, SaaS, or related industries.
- Experience marketing to or working within private equity, venture capital, and/or payments consulting audiences strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to develop thought leadership content and execute high-impact events.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong executive presence.
- Strategic mindset with strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and manage multiple priorities.

For this full-time position, the good faith estimated annual salary range upon hire is $113,600.00-$171,575.00. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on the role’s responsibilities, level, and geographic location. The actual starting salary will be determined by a candidate’s experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Please note that changes in work location may impact the final offered salary.
