Position Overview
We are seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to manage and grow our brand presence across key digital platforms. This role will support content planning, creation, publishing, and performance tracking to drive engagement and brand awareness.
Core Responsibilities1. Content Execution & Publishing
- Schedule and publish posts across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
- Write captions aligned with brand voice
- Upload reels, stories, carousels, and short-form video
- Ensure proper tagging, hashtags, and formatting
- Maintain a consistent posting calendar
2. Content Creation Support
- Assist in creating graphics (Canva/Adobe)
- Edit short-form video (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
- Capture basic photo/video content when needed
- Repurpose long-form content into social clips
- Organize and maintain content library
3. Community Management
- Monitor comments and DMs
- Respond to messages in a timely, brand-appropriate manner
- Escalate customer service or sales inquiries
- Engage with followers (likes, comments, shares)
- Monitor brand mentions and tags
4. Analytics & Reporting
- Track post performance metrics
- Compile weekly/monthly performance reports
- Monitor engagement, reach, follower growth
- Provide basic insights on what content is performing well
- Support A/B testing efforts
5. Campaign Support
- Assist in executing social campaigns
- Coordinate with marketing or sales teams
- Support giveaway or influencer initiatives
- Help implement paid ad campaigns (if applicable)
6. Administrative & Organizational Tasks
- Maintain content calendar
- Ensure brand consistency across platforms
- Keep login credentials organized
- Research trending topics and hashtags
- Monitor competitors
Education & Experience
- 1-3 years of experience managing social media accounts for a business, brand, or agency
- Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Demonstrated ability to grow engagement and/or followers
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with content scheduling tools (Later, Hootsuite, Sprout, etc.)
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva required; Adobe Creative Suite preferred)
- Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar)
- Understanding of social analytics (reach, engagement rate, CTR, conversions)
- Familiarity with paid social boosting and ad setup
Content Creation Ability
- Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt brand voice
- Ability to create short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
- Comfortable being on camera OR directing talent
- Basic photography skills (iPhone-level is acceptable; DSLR preferred)
Organizational & Soft Skills
- Highly organized and deadline-driven
- Able to manage a content calendar independently
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams
- Self-starter who can work without heavy supervision
Portfolio Requirements
Applicants must provide:
- Links to at least 2 social media accounts they have managed
- 3–5 content examples (posts, reels, campaigns, graphics)
- A brief explanation of a campaign they worked on and the results achieved
