Overview Influential, is looking for an experienced Associate Director, Client Management . As the primary point of contact for campaign execution, the Associate Director, Client Management is responsible for representing client needs and goals to ensure optimal performance and client satisfaction throughout the campaign.
Responsibilities
- Lead multi-faceted influencer marketing campaigns ranging in budget and complexity for a flagship financial services client.
- Serve as the day-to-day client lead, driving communication, alignment, and flawless execution across influencer programs.
- Partner with the client, IAT, and internal stakeholders to ensure influencer strategies and campaign plans deliver against brand and business objectives.
- Monitor creator trends, platform shifts, and cultural conversations to inform influencer strategy.
- Ensure influencer programs integrate with broader marketing campaigns and brand initiatives.
- Lead creator and talent selection in partnership with strategy and activation teams to ensure talent aligns with brand strategy and cultural relevance.
- Guide cross-functional teams and IAT partners to execute campaigns on time, on brief, and at the highest standard.
- Oversee production and live event activations, managing creator participation and supporting client needs on-site.
- Manage ongoing client and campaign status updates while tracking timelines, deliverables, and program progress.
- Own campaign wrap reporting, delivering performance insights and optimization recommendations.
- Maintain knowledge of platform guidelines, ad products, and creator deliverables while managing asset timelines.
- Mentor account managers and activation team members, fostering collaboration and operational excellence.
- Navigate campaign challenges and develop solutions to ensure successful delivery.
- Partner with the Account VP and finance on campaign budgets, margin management, and billing reconciliation.
- Develop tools and playbooks that strengthen influencer campaign execution.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience working at an agency, marketing-tech company, or media organization.
- Experience leading campaign production and project management, including building timelines, managing deliverables, and setting cross-functional teams up for successful execution.
- Experience overseeing content shoots and/or live event activations in person while supporting clients and managing key stakeholder participation on-site.
- Experience working closely with agency partners and cross-functional teams within an IAT structure.
- Experience leveraging data and analytics to inform campaign planning and performance reporting.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- Experience creating internal and external presentations
- Strong decision-making, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex campaigns and priorities.
- Experience managing campaigns across major social platforms including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and emerging channels.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

- Experience working on financial services accounts.
- Previous experience managing or mentoring junior team members.
- Experience working with athlete ambassadors or sports talent partnerships.

Compensation Range: $100,000 - $125,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
