Position Overview:

Reporting to the Director, Influencer, PR & Events, the Manager, Influencer, PR & Events is responsible for executing programming across the BBI portfolio of brands: Wet Brush, Goody, Bio Ionic and Ouidad (inclusive of Ouidad Salon). This role helps to bring brand stories to life through press, creator partnerships, and experiential activations. This highly cross-collaborative role interfaces with Social Media, Brand Marketing, Customer/Sales, Ecommerce teams. This role requires flexibility for after hours and weekend work based on program needs.

Influencer (50%)

  • Support ideation of influencer programming, unique to each individual brand’s needs
  • Help identify and research influencers who align with each brand’s audience and aesthetic
  • Monitor and organize influencer content, deliverables, and performance metrics
  • Daily influencer outreach and communication, ensuring timely responses and follow-up
  • Create influencer briefs in accordance with brand strategy & messaging, conduct live briefings
  • Coordinate with Social Media team for collaboration post timing
  • Partner with Social Team on TTS Affiliate Partnership needs, relationship management
  • Support ongoing performance reports on a program & holistic brand basis
  • Support seeding programs: coordinate mailers, manage product inventory, track shipment
  • Identify unique outreach moments – birthdays, weddings, etc. to cultivate ongoing relationships
  • Maintain master spreadsheets of influencer outreach, relationships and addresses
  • Manage ongoing budget tracking, ensuring payments are fulfilled, paperwork submitted, etc.

Public Relations (20%)

  • Assist in the development and distribution of press materials, media alerts, and product mailers
  • Maintain media lists and track press coverage across print, digital, and social platforms
  • Support day-to-day communication with PR agencies and media partners
  • Coordinate with Customer/Sales/Ecomm teams to align on promotional stories for pitching
  • Prepare briefing documents and track outreach progress for product launches and campaigns
  • Support writing press releases, ensuring timely approval and release
  • Ensure ongoing participation in sampling opportunities with other brands, events and moments
  • Place regular product orders for refreshment in-office and with PR teams
  • Send product to key contacts when relevant & necessary
  • Coordinate ongoing salon appointments for editors & influencers at the Ouidad Salon
  • Attend press previews, interfacing with editors and media directly

Events (25%)

  • Assist in planning and executing brand events, launch parties, and experiential activations
  • Support logistical coordination, including vendor outreach, sample preparation, on-site setup
  • Manage guest lists, RSVPs, and event recaps
  • Capture and organize content from events for internal and external use
  • Responsible for on-site event management, interfacing with key attendees
  • Create event recaps, demonstrating measurable impact and communicating learnings
  • Create and maintain workback schedules and budget trackers, keeping all items updated ongoing
  • Must be comfortable speaking on camera and being featured in content

Corporate Communications (5%)

  • Manage corporate LinkedIn page including daily/weekly posting, coordination across departments, content creation & publishing
  • Support ongoing maintenance of corporate website – providing refreshed press coverage, imagery, brand assets, sourcing from various cross functional teams
  • Partner with HR for any corporate giving or charity activations, ensuring seamless execution & management of programming

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience working in social and/or influencer marketing
  • Existing relationships across beauty media, influencer, and talent communities
  • Skilled in managing agencies, budgets, and complex cross-functional initiatives
  • Confident communicator, strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge & experience using social & influencer management technology platforms
  • Familiarity with CreatorIQ and/or other similar technologies + Influencer partner agencies a plus

Education/ Experience Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in PR, influencer, and/or experiential marketing, ideally in beauty, fashion, or lifestyle.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field required
  • Expertise required across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Pinterest.
  • This role is NYC-based with a hybrid schedule of both in-office and remote workdays. Must be available to be in NYC three days/week.
