Job Summary
Justice Cannabis Co. is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Field Brand Representative to represent our brand across New Jersey through consumer events, community engagement, and strategic partnerships.
This role plays a critical part in building brand awareness, increasing customer engagement, and driving sales growth across our dispensary locations. The Field Brand Representative will plan and execute in-person marketing activations, promote Justice Cannabis Co. products and retail locations, and serve as the face of the brand in the communities we serve.
The ideal candidate is a high-energy communicator who thrives in public-facing environments, enjoys building relationships, and has a strong understanding of sales, brand promotion, and cannabis industry regulations.
What You'll Do
Brand Representation, Sales & Event Execution (60%)
- Maintain strong knowledge of Justice Cannabis Co.’s products, retail locations, loyalty programs, retail apps, industry trends, and regulatory requirements
- Represent the Justice Cannabis Co. brand at consumer events, community engagements, and dispensary activations
- Plan, organize, and execute consumer-facing marketing events including loyalty program activations, product demonstrations, app demonstrations, promotions, and community initiatives
- Coordinate event logistics including securing venues, managing budgets, setting up displays, and overseeing event execution
- Engage consumers to educate them on products, encourage dispensary visits, and drive product purchases
- Promote Justice Cannabis Co.’s mission, values, and commitment to the communities we serve
Events include:
Cannabis Events & Local Markets
- Represent Justice Cannabis Co. at dispensary events, festivals, and markets
- Educate consumers, showcase products, and build brand loyalty while driving purchases and dispensary traffic
Community Engagement Events
- Participate in local events including fundraisers, networking mixers, and community fairs
- Strengthen relationships within the community and identify new sales opportunities
B2B Marketing Initiatives
- Build partnerships with local businesses to cross-promote Justice Cannabis Co. locations
- Develop collaborative marketing initiatives and referral-based sales opportunities
Relationship Building (10%)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners, local influencers, and community leaders
- Regularly visit dispensary locations to ensure marketing activations drive traffic and increase sales
- Partner with dispensary managers and staff to align events with operational and sales goals
Consumer Engagement (10%)
- Educate consumers about the Justice Cannabis Co. dispensary experience and product offerings
- Promote loyalty program enrollment and app downloads through engaging demonstrations
- Assist customers with loyalty program sign-ups and mobile app setup
- Conduct consumer surveys to measure brand awareness and shopping intent
- Gather feedback and insights to support marketing strategy improvements
Reporting & Market Insights (5%)
- Track and report event performance, loyalty program sign-ups, app downloads, and consumer engagement
- Provide insights on consumer preferences, market trends, and brand opportunities
- Share event performance updates with the marketing team to support strategic planning
Sampling Programs (5%)
- Execute compliant product sampling programs at approved locations
- Distribute promotional materials and product samples in accordance with state and local regulations
- Track consumer response and provide reporting on program effectiveness
Social Media Activation (5%)
- Promote Justice Cannabis Co. products, events, and brand initiatives on social media
- Create engaging content that connects with consumers and promotes event participation
- Engage with followers online using branded hashtags and community engagement strategies
- Partner with the marketing team to align social media activity with brand campaigns
Team Collaboration
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure clarity of responsibilities and expectations
- Support team initiatives and contribute to shared goals and objectives
- Welcome feedback and demonstrate openness to different perspectives
- Provide support and guidance to new team members when needed
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of sales or brand promotion experience, preferably in field marketing, brand ambassadorship, or the cannabis industry
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse audiences and drive consumer engagement
- Experience with event planning, grassroots marketing, and community outreach
- Highly motivated and organized with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Passion for community involvement and understanding of cannabis regulations
- Experience with social media marketing and digital engagement
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to obtain and maintain required state cannabis regulatory badges
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
- Ability to lift and transport promotional materials and event equipment
