Position Overview
Dr. Sheila Farhang of Avant Dermatology & Aesthetics is seeking a highly creative, self-directed, and strategic Marketing Director to lead and execute all marketing initiatives across our medical, aesthetic, media, and product platforms. This is a hands-on, on-site role responsible for building and elevating the brand presence of:
· Avant Dermatology & Aesthetics
· upcoming Product launch
· Our Beverly Hills clinic collaborations
· Dr. Farhang’s media appearances
· The Derm Approved podcast
This role requires someone who can think strategically while executing tactically — from high-level campaign development to filming and editing Instagram Reels on an iPhone.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Strategic Marketing Leadership
· Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and outreach for Avant Dermatology & Aesthetics.
· Lead the branding and launch strategy for Dr. Farhang’s upcoming product line.
· Develop marketing campaigns for the Beverly Hills location, including local visibility and PR outreach.
· Ensure cohesive messaging across medical dermatology, aesthetics, retail, and media platforms.
· Track KPIs and adjust strategy based on performance analytics.
Social Media Strategy & Content Creation
· Social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
· Create, film, edit, and post content (primarily short-form video).
· Confidently use:
o CapCut
o In-app editing tools
o iPhone-based filming
· Develop educational, promotional, and personality-driven content.
· Build engagement and community growth organically and through paid ads.
· Maintain a consistent posting calendar and brand voice.
Advertising & Campaign Development
· Create and manage paid ad campaigns (Meta, Instagram, Google, etc.).
· Design promotional campaigns for:
o Aesthetic treatments
o Product launches
o Monthly specials
o Events
· Coordinate creative assets (photo, video, graphics).
· Oversee ad performance and ROI tracking.
Product Marketing
· Lead launch campaigns for Dr. Farhang’s product line digitally.
· Develop promotional materials for online retail.
Public Relations & Media
· Support and travel for media appearances in Los Angeles.
Events & Experiential Marketing
· Plan and execute in-office and off-site events.
· Coordinate influencer collaborations.
· Oversee event marketing from concept to execution.
· Create pre-event buzz and post-event content.
Qualifications
· 3+ years in marketing (healthcare, aesthetics, beauty, or personal brand preferred).
· Strong understanding of social media growth strategy.
· Experience filming and editing short-form video content.
· Proficient in CapCut (or similar), and mobile content creation.
· Experience managing paid advertising campaigns.
· Comfortable working directly with a physician founder and being on camera when needed.
· Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple brands simultaneously.
· Self-starter who thrives without micromanagement.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
