We have an immediate opening for aSr. Media Plannerin our Overland Park office. Part of MMGY Global, MMGY TravelDesk is an integrated programmatic and digital advertising business specializing in travel. TravelDesk blends programmatic strategy with innovative data and creative products to deliver highly successful campaigns for global travel clients.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the point of contact for programmatic presenting TravelDesk to MMGY Media teams and driving the programmatic strategies and capabilities of TravelDesk across MMGY’s US and UKbased clents
- Advise on programmatic strategy, encouraging multi-channel and multi-market activations via TravelDesk
- Act as a strategic programmatic partner, working with media leadership and media planners to help define campaign frameworks that support client KPIs and business objectives
- Develop and present proactive domestic and international programmatic proposals
- Maintain accurate forecast and advance opportunities
- Answer RFPs, develop and present proactive domestic and international programmatic campaign ideas - including digital display, mobile, native, video, connected TV, audio and digital out-ofhome.
- Build and nurture relationships with MMGY’s Account teams, Media teams and TravelDesk’s ad operations and campaign management team
- Build and nurture relationships with key data inventory partners and vendors
Requirements:
- 2+ Years experience working in a client-facing sales/account management/ strategy/consulting capacity
- 2+ years in media planning/buying either client, agency or vendor side
- Knowledge of Programmatic Media (Trade Desk) preferred
- Must be a self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial and fast-moving environment where initiative and innovative thinking are actively encouraged
- Conversant with advertising technologies and buying structures
- Highly organized and methodical in approach, as well as having the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and marketing personnel at all levels, coupled with good interpersonal skills
- Must be proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team and independently
