Social Media Influencer/Content Creator (50K+, Financial Content)

Our client is an eight-figure entrepreneur with a lean but dynamic team that has built a very successful options & equity trading business - providing education and mentorship to new and seasoned traders alike.

They are seeking a viral and daring Social Media Influencer/Content Creator who deeply understands attention economics, platform algorithms, and the mechanics behind viral content. In this role, you will work closely with the owner to drive audience growth, engagement, and brand visibility across major social media platforms. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of organically building large audiences and consistently producing high-performing content that captures attention and drives sustained growth.

Please note that this role is for INFLUENCERS (who also film their own content) only with at least 50K+ followers on multiple platforms. Managing a brand page for someone else will not count. They can expect to earn a minimum salary of 6 figures, and retain any existing work/contracts they have as long as it does not interfere with their ability to contribute to this role.

This is NOT a corporate job, and not suitable for someone who's only looking to add to their resume and grow linearly. This is a role for someone who wants to earn alot of money, and take a non-traditional path where the most important traits are ownership and personal stake.

The main focus to begin with will be financial content, and can expand later to cover some of the other businesses operated by the owner.

This position is FULLY-REMOTE , although there is a strong preference for someone based in Calgary or can work within a similar time zone.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive social media content strategy designed to maximize reach, engagement, and follower growth across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
• Create high-performing short-form and long-form video content that incorporates strong hooks, storytelling structure, retention techniques, and viral potential.
• Identify emerging trends early and rapidly translate them into compelling content opportunities.
• Manage the full lifecycle of content creation including scripting, filming, editing, publishing, and performance optimization.
• Continuously analyze platform metrics such as watch time, retention rate, engagement rate, and share rate to refine content strategy.
• Experiment with new formats, AI-assisted tools, and editing techniques to improve audience retention and algorithm performance.
• Appear on camera when required to deliver engaging and authentic content.
• Maintain a consistent posting cadence while ensuring high standards of content quality and performance.
• Monitor changes to social media algorithms and adapt strategies accordingly.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ownership of, and experience growing 50K+ followers on one or more major platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or Facebook) organically. Temporary view-only access to platform analytics dashboards, or verified screenshots showing follower growth trends, engagement rates, and audience demographics will be requested to ensure authenticity.
• Proven ability to produce viral or high-performing content with strong engagement and viewership metrics.
• Deep understanding of social media algorithms, audience psychology, storytelling, and attention-driven content strategies.
• Strong skills in video production and editing using professional software and AI-assisted content tools.
• Comfortable appearing on camera and presenting content clearly when required.
• Fluent in English.
• Flexibility working across time zones - ideally aligned with GMT-7.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or similar disciplines preferred, but not required.
