Job Description

Riceland Foods is looking for a Brand Manager, Marketing. The Brand Manager will plays a key role in bringing this story to life—connecting consumers, retailers, and foodservice partners with the farmers behind our food.

This role blends brand strategy, creative storytelling, and data-driven marketing to grow awareness, drive demand, and position Riceland products as a trusted kitchen staple across retail, foodservice, and digital channels.

Job Duties

Brand Strategy & Storytelling

  • Shape and evolve the Riceland brand narrative, highlighting our farmer-owned cooperative heritage and farm-to-table story.
  • Develop brand positioning and messaging that resonates with consumers, retailers, and foodservice partners.
  • Identify growth opportunities through consumer insights, competitive analysis, and emerging food trends.

Campaigns, Content & Consumer Engagement

  • Lead consumer marketing campaigns across social media, digital advertising, email marketing, and influencer partnerships.
  • Own creative direction for brand storytelling across marketing channels.
  • Develop inspiring culinary content—including recipes, cooking inspiration, and food storytelling that connects consumers with rice in new ways.

Culinary Content & Kitchen Days

  • Lead hands-on Kitchen Days to develop recipes, capture food photography and video content, and generate consumer inspiration.
  • Translate culinary content into marketing campaigns, social media storytelling, and retailer support materials.

Insights & Data-Driven Marketing

  • Analyze retail performance using tools like IRI or similar data platforms.
  • Turn consumer and market insights into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Provide clear reporting and recommendations that guide brand growth.

Website Development and Maintenance

  • Lead website strategy and development for consumer and customer-facing audiences
  • Utilize SEO for website and content optimization
  • Establish and maintain reporting metrics for all web-related activities through GA4 and other platforms

Product Launches & Sales Enablement

  • Help develop go-to-market strategies for product launches and seasonal marketing initiatives.
  • Create compelling sales materials including product sheets, insights decks, and marketing collateral.
  • Ensure brand messaging aligns across marketing, sales, and eCommerce channels.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with Sales, R&D, Operations, and Leadership to bring marketing initiatives to life.
  • Partner with agencies, creators, and internal teams to produce high-quality marketing assets.
  • Manage timelines and priorities across multiple campaigns and projects.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or related field preferred
  • 2–5 years of experience in brand management, marketing strategy, or consumer marketing preferred
  • Strong strategic thinking paired with creative storytelling ability
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills
  • Experience managing social media campaigns, paid media, influencers, and email marketing
  • Ability to translate data and insights into actionable marketing strategies
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with retail data platforms such as IRI or Nielsen preferred
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify is a plus
  • Experience with website management platforms such as Webflow is preferred
