Trade Press Media Group (TPMG), a subsidiary of Forum Media Group, is a leading B2B media company producing award-winning trade magazines, websites, and national and regional live events.

We’re seeking a strategic, data-driven Event Outreach and Recruitment Specialist (or "Attendee Experience Specialist") to grow attendance and engagement at our B2B tradeshows and events. This role, blending marketing strategy and outbound sales outreach, with a strong emphasis on phone-based recruitment, is responsible for creating and developing relationships that grow in-person attendance and engagement at a wide range of in-person events.

Nimble on the phone, data driven and results motivated, this individual has the opportunity to contribute to TPMG's success by bringing buyers and sellers together to do business and solve problems face-to-face.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:
Attendee Recruitment & Strategy

  • Build targeted audience segments based on industry verticals, job roles, buying authority and behavioral data
  • Develop comprehensive plans to engage audience segments and identify high-value and high-propensity targets for personal outreach via phone, email, social media and other channels
  • Develop deep understanding of the value of all aspects of each event to relate specifically to a range of audience segments

Campaign Management:

  • Manage multi-channel prospecting campaigns across telephone, email, social media and other channels
  • Write copy for telephone scripts, email messages, landing page copy and social media posts to engage target audiences
  • Identify and take action on behavioral data indicating target audience members are engaged
  • Optimize campaigns through A/B testing, segmentation, and continuous performance analysis and iteration

Partnership & Community Outreach

  • Identify, engage and secure strategic relationships with industry associations, exhibitors, influencers, and media partners to extend reach
  • Cultivate relationships with high-value past attendees and VIP prospects
  • Develop and implement attendee loyalty programs and re-engagement strategies that encourage year-over-year attendance

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor attendee pipeline health and deliver weekly reporting on registration, conversion rates, and channel performance
  • Use CRM to track lead sources and engagement
  • Make adjustments to strategy based on real-time data

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 3–5 years in event sales, marketing, or related B2B roles
  • Proven success driving registrations or pipeline growth
  • Comfortable making outbound calls to engage and nurture attendees
  • CRM proficiency (AdOrbit a plus) and understanding of digital marketing KPIs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Data-minded and highly organized, able to manage multiple events

COMPENSATION

  • $45,000-$50,000 base plus commission
