DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER
Role Overview
As Digital Marketing Manager, you will set strategy and lead execution across paid media, email marketing, affiliate and influencer programs, and our owned web properties. You will manage a small team — including a Social Media Specialist, a Social VA, and a Marketing Generalist — and report jointly to the Director of Operations (eCommerce) and Director of Brand. This is a role for someone who wants real ownership, thinks in funnels, and knows how to balance big-picture strategy with getting things done.
Key Responsibilities
Paid Social Agency Management
- Own the relationship with the paid social agency covering Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit, and Snapchat
- Set campaign strategy, goals, and direction — hold the agency accountable to performance
- Review and approve creative briefs, ad creative, and campaign reports
- Ensure paid social strategy is aligned with broader brand and promotional calendar
- Lead weekly paid media meetings with agency partners
Email Marketing
- Own email marketing strategy, calendar, and flow architecture
- Oversee and direct the email marketing contractor on day-to-day execution
- Define segmentation strategy and automation flow improvements to drive retention and LTV
- Review campaign performance and iterate on strategy accordingly
- Lead weekly email marketing meetings
Affiliate & Influencer Programs
- Lead LTK campaign strategy and manage creator partnerships
- Own and grow the TikTok Affiliate Program, including creator recruitment and performance tracking
- Oversee Discord community strategy and management
- Direct and coordinate photo and video shoots for campaign and social content
- Lead social and content bi-weekly strategy meetings
Website & SEO
- Own website and Shop App storefront merchandising strategy
- Manage the promotional calendar across DTC channels
- Lead SEO strategy and stay current on AI-driven search optimization (AIEO)
- Oversee blog content strategy
- Participate in bi-weekly cross-functional web meetings
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor a team of 3: Social Media Specialist, Social VA, and Marketing Generalist
- Set priorities, delegate effectively, and ensure channel coverage across the team
- Support recruiting efforts for the marketing department
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Creative, and Brand teams
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of digital marketing experience with a strong mix of paid media, email, and eCommerce
- Experience managing external agencies or contractors and holding them accountable to performance
- Strong understanding of paid social platforms (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit, Snapchat) — you don't need to run them, but you need to know how they work
- Experience with email platforms such as Klaviyo and eCommerce platforms like Shopify
- Familiarity with affiliate and influencer platforms (LTK, TikTok Affiliate, etc.)
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and emerging AIEO trends
- Creative thinker with experience directing or coordinating content production
- Highly organized and self-directed with strong prioritization skills
- Clear, confident communicator across internal teams and external partners
