Your Role: The Architect of Brand Narrative The L’Oréal Paris US Brand Engagement Team is seeking a strategic, creative, and consumer-centric leader to architect the brand engagement strategy for our Cosmetics category. You will lead a high-impact, full-funnel strategy across Paid Social, Advocacy & Influence (A&I), PR, and Events. You are an expert in the social ecosystem, with your finger on the pulse of beauty, masstige culture, and the "Next Big Thing." You will drive key KPIs (Traackr/MIM, TikTok Engagement, DBPI) to recruit new audiences and maximize our iconic customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Influence & Social Ecosystem Management:

  • A&I Strategy: Architect and execute a "best-in-class" Advocacy & Influencer strategy to drive brand love, awareness, and conversion for all new launches and pillars.
  • 360° Go-To-Market: Lead influencer initiatives within the brand’s GTM plans, from initial strategy to activation and Traackr reporting.
  • Community Building: Identify and nurture relationships with emerging creators while scaling our nano/micro-influencer "Always-On" strategy to maximize advocacy.
  • Negotiation & Contracting: Oversee influencer contracting and briefing in partnership with Legal and 3rd-party agencies.
  • Social Commerce: Lead the management and execution of TikTok Shop and affiliate programming to drive immediate conversion.

Integrated Brand Engagement:

  • Paid & Organic Synergy: Align paid social campaigns with organic and earned activations to ensure cohesive, high-impact storytelling across all platforms (TikTok, Meta, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat).
  • DMI Alignment: Partner with the Global DMI to ensure US activations maintain the core brand DNA in creator selection and content.
  • Insights to Action: Analyze CDMO/COE reports to share competitive insights and refine strategies based on consumer-focused data and beauty trends.

Events, Tentpoles & PR Excellence:

  • Event Strategy: Lead the creation of unique, high-impact experiences (Influencer trips, category events) that fuel advocacy and build brand equity.
  • Production Oversight: Manage production partners, attendee lists, and ROS, ensuring flawless execution and high ROI.
  • PR Lead: Serve as the day-to-day communications lead, overseeing media pitching and editor unveils for new launches.

Operational Excellence:

  • P&L Management: Strategic oversight of the Brand Engagement budget, including product forecasting, PO tracking, and finance collaboration.
  • Data Integrity: Lead the Onefluence Data Integrity Project to ensure rigorous measurement of all activations.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience: 8-10 years of experience in social media marketing, influencer marketing, PR, and event strategy.
  • Platform Expertise: Deep knowledge of the social landscape (TikTok, Meta, YT, etc.) and social commerce/affiliate models (TikTok Shop, LTK).
  • Analytical Rigor: Ability to translate social analytics and Traackr data into actionable business plans.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and oral communication skills; an expert at articulating high-level presentations to senior leadership.
  • L’Oréal Competencies: A proven Entrepreneur, Integrator, and Strategist who thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
