Position Summary: In this role, you will report to the Organic Social Lead. Your focus will be on managing content calendars, scheduling, communicating with stakeholders and partners, drafting copy, posting on social media channels, and monitoring analytics and reporting. We seek an energetic, creative self-starter with superb communication skills and a passion for gaming. Candidates should be familiar with games, understand current social media trends, and be capable of driving community growth and engagement. You must be self-motivated, organized, and adaptable to the fast-paced nature of social media.

  • The team provides marketing and social media support for a large gaming studio.
  • This role contributes to the social voice for the gaming marketplace. It involves partnering with social and influencer teams and broader marketing teams to manage and drive awareness and engagement for marketplace content on owned social media channels. Responsibilities include creating and implementing social strategies and campaigns, engaging with players, brands, and influencers, managing content calendars, scheduling, drafting copy, posting on social media channels, and monitoring analytics and reporting.

Typical Task Breakdown and Operating Rhythm:

  • Meetings and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Campaign content strategy ideation, collaboration, and implementation (e.g., copywriting and publishing) as assigned by the Organic Social Lead.
  • Social media data analysis and reporting.
  • Engagement and moderation duties as needed.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Lead social planning and execution for game consumer products partnerships on social media, ensuring alignment with the game's broader brand voice, social strategy, and business objectives.
  • Lead social planning and execution for the game en Español Twitter channel and ensure brand alignment with the main account.
  • Partner closely with consumer products, product marketing, and integrated marketing teams to understand priorities, timelines, and success metrics, translating them into effective social approaches and content plans.
  • Serve as a strategic connector between business objectives and creative execution, shaping briefs and recommendations that enable the creative team to deliver culturally relevant, highly engaging social content.
  • Maintain a strong pulse on culture, platform trends, and creator ecosystems, identifying opportunities to authentically connect cultural moments to game consumer products.
  • Perform day-to-day consumer products and game en Español social operations, including content planning, calendar management, copy development, publishing, community engagement, and light moderation, ensuring a high-quality and consistent presence across channels.
  • Create, curate, and elevate consumer products and game en Español social content at scale, highlighting creators, user-generated content, and community moments to drive engagement, discovery, and sustained interest.
  • Track and interpret social performance across consumer product initiatives, contributing to campaign reporting and dashboards while using data and insights to optimize content and demonstrate impact against consumer product goals.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the field.
  • The ideal candidate will have a background in gaming and high creativity. Candidates should balance creativity with a data-driven mentality and be self-starters. Previous knowledge or experience with gaming is highly preferred.
  • Managing high-volume social media channels for well-known video game publishers.
  • Exceptional knowledge of social media trends and the ability to influence without authority.
  • Competence with Office 365 and analytics tools (Sprinklr and native social media analytics experience preferred).
  • Copywriting experience for social media with the ability to adapt to different tones of voice.
  • Excellent data analysis and storytelling skills.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working at a major game publisher or in the gaming sector.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience speaking Spanish fluently.
  • 3-5 years of experience with social media strategy planning, goal setting, and implementation, preferably in Spanish.
  • 3-5 years of experience in social media strategy planning, goal setting, and implementation.
  • Gaming knowledge and experience is strongly preferred.
  • Native Spanish speaker.
  • Experience managing high-volume social media channels for well-known video game publishers, video game equipment manufacturers, or similar organizations within the gaming sector is mandatory.
  • Exceptional knowledge of social media trends and the ability to translate them to specific audiences.
  • Ability to influence without authority.
