Who We’re Looking For As the Batbox Venue Marketing Coordinator, you are the \"boots on the ground\" engine driving local venue growth and community engagement. Reporting to the Manager of Marketing Operations, you play a critical role in translating high-level brand strategy into localized action that drives immediate foot traffic and venue loyalty. You are a natural connector who manages local influencer relationships, coordinates neighborhood outreach, and ensures our in-venue promotions are executed with high energy and precision.

This is a fully in-person role consisting of 4 weekdays most working out of our head office (with regular travel working at our Addison Batbox) and 1 weekend day per week working from the Addison Batbox Venue to ensure presence when the venue is most popular. You must be willing to be outside the venue 50-60% of the time for community outreach and work weekends and holidays as needed. This role requires being active when people are out in the community at popular events and cultural moments to maximize brand exposure and lead generation.

Your Impact Local Outreach & Community Engagement

  • Lead localized outreach, including business drops and neighborhood networking to build brand awareness.
  • Coordinate local venue activations such as weekday programming (i.e. Leagues, Trivia Night) or national holiday promotions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for local partnership opportunities and community donation requests.
  • Coordinate team of hourly Brand Ambassadors to support in outreach and internal marketing efforts.

Community Relations

  • Respond to reviews, web contact submissions, and other venue inquiries.
  • Manage the execution of local influencer and VIP visits, ensuring every guest has an \"Amped\" experience.
  • Capture organic content from the venue to share with Brand Coordinator.
  • Track and report on the success of local influencer activations and partnership deliverables.

Campaign Execution & In-Venue Promo

  • Own the promotion of in-venue campaigns, ensuring signage and marketing materials are up-to-date and properly displayed.
  • Support the rollout of seasonal and one-off campaigns by coordinating local launch requirements.
  • Work closely with the creative team by requesting localized marketing materials, menus, and trade signage.

Sales & Digital Support

  • Collaborate with the Event Sales team to support local lead generation and outreach for networking events.
  • Assist the Manager of Marketing Ops in identifying local trends and opportunities for geo-targeted paid media boosts.
  • Monitor local venue performance and guest feedback to propose creative ways to increase repeat visits.

Trend Monitoring & Brand Growth

  • Stay current on social, cultural, and design trends to help keep Batbox content relevant and on-brand
  • Bring fresh, creative ideas to the table for content themes, formats, and guest engagement

Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in marketing for a sports, entertainment, or lifestyle brand
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently speak to anyone, engage potential guests in high-traffic environments, and act as a vibrant \"Rockstar\" ambassador for the brand.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a schedule and proactively secure local community outreach and partnership opportunities.
  • Proficiency in professional communication with the ability to master the Batbox tone, ensuring all guest interactions and review responses are clear, concise, and conversational.
  • Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods in indoor and outdoor environments, occasionally lift or move items up to 30 lbs, and work in environments with elevated noise levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
