Position Overview
The Producer, Social Media Content is responsible for bringing social-first ideas to life through best-in-class content across platforms. This role blends creative storytelling with operational excellence – owning the ideation and execution of social-first content, managing content production, and ensuring content is optimized for TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms.
We’re looking for a culturally fluent content producer who understands how to create platform-native content, while maintaining an elevated brand look and feel across the social platforms. This person thrives in fast-paced environments, can manage multiple shoots and creators at once, and knows how to translate campaign objectives into compelling social moments.
Responsibilities* Lead end-to end production of social-first content including short-form video, still photography, creator content, and on-brand trend assets.
- Identify opportunities to increase brand relevance across key audiences through culturally resonant content.
- Attend photo/video shoots to shape and capture social-first assets, ensuring content meets brand and platform expectations.
- Partner with the Kendra Scott Creative team to shape shot lists, content capture plans, talent direction, and deliverables requirements in advance of shoot days.
- Provide real-time feedback and creative direction during shoots to ensure assets are optimized for platform performance (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
- Partner with Influencer Lead to develop seasonal editorial trend briefs to source Creator Content to fuel social channels.
- Ensure efficient asset management and organization across platforms and cross-functional partners.
- Partner with Sr. Manager, Social Media to develop social briefs and spec sheets to inform creative asset development.
- Lead team brainstorming sessions to support creative planning around key campaigns and seasonal product drops.
- Oversee cross-functional content approvals and revisions to ensure quality and compliance.
- Partner with Paid Media team to ensure seamless asset delivery and handoff to internal and agency partners to support Paid Social campaigns.
- Draft post caption copy to support brand storytelling and key messaging points across social platforms.
- Test new formats, storytelling techniques, and production styles to drive engagement and reach.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:* 5-7+ years of social media or related marketing experience, with a strong blend of strategy, creative ideation, and channel management.
- Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and short-form video content.
- Experience with producing social-first shoots (studio, lifestyle, UGC, and creator-led content).
- A portfolio or work samples that demonstrate strong creative ideas, trend fluency, and social-first storytelling.
- Experience with creative / project management tools (Wrike, Basecamp).
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Experience working with influencers and creators preferred.
- Proven experience leading social media strategy for a consumer brand, ideally within fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or retail.
- Comfort with short-form copywriting to support social copy development.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders.
- Highly collaborative with a strong ability to build relationships with co-workers and keep others informed
- A proactive, collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset and a passion for experimenting with new ideas, formats, and technologies.
- Ability to travel 10–15% for brand events, photo/video shoots, or campaign production.
