We're looking to hire a Construction & Manufacturing Sales Representative – in the Atlanta region.

The Sales Representative is responsible for driving growth across a defined territory by identifying new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with key customers, and providing technical, consultative support. This role combines active prospecting, jobsite demonstrations, customer training, and disciplined pipeline management.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities and target key prospects to drive sustainable, profitable growth.
  • Actively hunt for new accounts while developing and expanding existing ones through effective sales strategies.
  • Engage current customers to increase product mix, volume, and margin.
  • Participate in relevant networking events such as trade shows, industry association mixers, and regional business events.
  • Customer Relationship Management & Technical Support
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key influencers and decision makers.
  • Provide high‑quality technical support to all customers within the territory.
  • Visit construction jobsites and contractor offices to conduct product demonstrations and/or product testing.
  • Train customer installation teams on product selection, surface preparation, and proper application techniques.
  • Address customer issues promptly and professionally to ensure strong long‑term relationships.

Territory Management & Sales Strategy

  • Update and maintain customer information and opportunity pipelines daily using Salesforce CRM.
  • Analyze sales results, reassess key customer potential, and adjust tactical sales strategies accordingly.
  • Gather, analyze, and present market data (applications, products, pricing, volume, trends) to sales leadership.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership on regional industry developments and emerging trends.
  • Set and track sales targets for the territory.
  • Document future sales opportunities to ensure proper operational planning and alignment with customer needs.

Requirements

  • At least three (3) years of field‑based B2B sales experience.
  • Experience in the manufacturing or construction industry is a strong asset.
  • Experience in the sealant/adhesive market is highly desired but not required.
  • Availability for daily regional travel (90%) and occasional overnight travel (10%).
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, clean driving record, and current auto insurance.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is an asset but not required.

  • Proficiency with sales productivity tools (ex: Salesforce CRM)

  • Exceptional prospecting and consultative selling skills, with the ability to build and sustain strong customer relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities.
  • Resilience, tenacity, and confidence when facing challenging situations.
  • Ability to thrive both autonomously and within a remote, cross‑functional team (Sales, Service, Logistics, Marketing, R&D).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong presentation skills are an asset.
  • Professional appearance and ethical conduct.

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
