Position Overview What is First Round? A partnership that brings together CÎROC vodka and Lobos 1707 tequila under one unified platform with a mission to drive growth and deepen consumer engagement through best-in-class marketing, creative storytelling, and a shared commitment to authenticity and innovation.

What are we building? We’re building a small, focused creative team designed to move quickly. This joint venture brings together two distinct spirits brands: the modern luxury of CÎROC and the heritage-driven edge of Lobos 1707. Our goal is to develop thoughtful, effective creative that elevates the brands and earns attention.

Who are we looking for? We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to spearhead strategy and execution for Lobos 1707. This is a rare chance to build and own the social presence of a brand that's still finding its voice, and we want somebody energized by that opportunity, with a strong creative and strategic POV, who can roll up their sleeves to manage day-to-day execution with agency support and minimal internal support. The ideal candidate has a start-up mentality and an appetite for experimentation.

Experience in hands-on content creation is a must.

Key Responsibilities Strategic + Creative Leadership Oversee and execute social media strategy for Lobos 1707, ensuring alignment with overall brand positioning and business objectives.

Review and approve all social media content, ensuring brand consistency and quality standards.

Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reporting on social media performance and ROI.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including brand marketing, creative, and PR to ensure integrated campaign execution.

Account Management Create and manage social media content calendars.

Maintain community management, including DMs, mentions, and tags.

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for live events coverage, event recaps, and joint content (collabs, etc).

Work closely with agency partners to deliver content briefs and keep up the content pipeline.

Hands-On Execution Lead creative ideation and concept development for day-to-day social content and campaigns.

Identify and act on cultural moments with reactive content, including hands-on production.

Source, vet, and manage influencer and creator partnerships — from initial outreach and deal negotiation to briefing, content review, and delivery.

Manage content production workflows from concept through final delivery.

Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of social media marketing experience.

Proven track record managing social media for consumer brands, preferably in CPG, lifestyle, or alcohol/beverage industries.

Experience working with external agencies and managing vendor relationships.

Demonstrated success in hands-on execution.

Demonstrated instinct for culturally resonant content that earns attention beyond paid reach.

Willingness (and excitement!) to travel for events.

Physical Requirements Ability to travel as needed.

Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.

Ability to lift and carry (up to 25 pounds).

Willingness to work evenings and weekends as necessary for creative project deadlines or marketing activations.
