AREY Group, LLC Marketing Summer Intern (Digital Focus) Macon, GA Objective: Provide hands-on experience in digital marketing analytics, reputation management, and online brand execution while supporting the marketing team in maintaining and improving AREY Group’s digital presence across websites, listings, and social platforms.
Core Responsibilities
- Website Quality Control & Optimization Goal: Ensure all property and corporate websites are accurate, functional, and user-friendly.
Tasks:
- Conduct weekly audits of AREY corporate and property websites
- Identify and document:
- Broken links
- Outdated pricing or specials
- Incorrect hours, amenities, or unit details
- Missing images or formatting issues
- Mobile responsiveness problems
- Submit organized correction reports to marketing/vendor teams
- Verify corrections once completed
- Assist with SEO improvements (page titles, alt text, metadata consistency)
- Track site performance trends (traffic, bounce rates, engagement)
Deliverables:
- Weekly website audit checklist
- Monthly improvement summary
- Online Reputation & Review Management (Dyverse + J Turner) Goal: Improve online ratings and response consistency across the portfolio.
Tasks:
- Monitor daily incoming reviews across all properties
- Categorize feedback (maintenance, staff, leasing, amenities, pricing, etc.)
- Draft response templates for marketing approval
- Track response times and completion
- Identify recurring issues or trends
- Work with Dyverse/J Turner dashboards to pull reporting data
- Assist in identifying properties needing intervention or coaching
- Suggest engagement strategies based on feedback patterns
Deliverables:
- Weekly review sentiment report
- Monthly portfolio reputation scorecard
- Social Media Management Support Goal: Maintain consistent and accurate property-level social presence.
Tasks:
- Audit social pages for accuracy (hours, phone, links, branding)
- Verify links to websites, ILS listings, and contact forms
- Schedule approved content using provided calendar
- Monitor comments and flag items needing response
- Track engagement metrics (reach, saves, clicks)
- Identify top-performing content types
- Assist in gathering photos/videos from sites
- Monitor and identify pros and cons of Influencer program
Deliverables:
- Weekly social activity summary
- Monthly engagement performance report
- By end of internship decide if another property should have Influencer program and develop plan
- Digital Reporting & Analytics Goal: Help marketing make data-driven decisions.
Tasks:
- Pull weekly marketing performance data
- Website traffic
- Lead sources
- Conversion rates
- Review scores
- Social engagement
- Maintain dashboard trackers (Excel/Sheets/BI tools)
- Identify anomalies or sudden performance changes
- Highlight underperforming properties needing attention
Deliverables:
- Weekly dashboard update
- Monthly performance presentation (simple slide summary)
- Digital Listings Accuracy (ILS + Maps + Profiles) Goal: Ensure prospects receive consistent information everywhere online.
Tasks:
- Audit Google Business Profiles
- Check ILS listings (apartments.com, etc.)
- Verify:
- Photos
- Amenity lists
- Contact info
- Hours
- Specials
- Submit corrections to vendors
Deliverables:
- Portfolio listing accuracy checklist
- Monthly correction tracker
