The Role
Digital Content Creator (Website Accuracy, Analytics & Video Production)
Vacancy Status: This job posting is for an existing vacancy; we are actively hiring to fill this role now and grow our marketing team.
Compensation: From $60,000 annually (plus benefits)
Hiring Process & AI Use: We use standard applicant tracking systems and do not use artificial intelligence to screen applicants .
The Mission
Own and improve the SWS digital experience so customers trust our information, understand our products, and feel supported before they ever contact us.
Our customers work in live traffic, snowstorms, roadside emergencies, and construction zones.
They do not have time for confusion. They do not have patience for unclear instructions. And they should never make a safety decision based on bad information.
Before they call us, they visit our website. That experience can always be better.
This Isn’t Just a Job. It’s Ownership.
We are not hiring someone to “post content.”
We are hiring the person who takes responsibility for how the world understands SWS.
When a fleet manager chooses the wrong product because a page was unclear, that matters.
When an end-user struggles because instructions were confusing, that matters.
When a customer trusts our information, that matters most.
Your work will directly affect customer confidence and company credibility.
We’re Looking for Someone Who Is:
- Detail-driven : incorrect specs genuinely bother you
- Technically curious : you want to understand how things actually work
- Growth-minded : you learn tools and systems quickly
- Accountable : you own outcomes, not tasks
- Solution-oriented : you fix problems immediately
- Client-focused : you think about the user first
- Organized : you build systems instead of relying on memory
- Collaborative : you work closely with other departments such as sales and engineering
- Clear communicator : you simplify without oversimplifying
- Persistent : you finish tedious improvements others avoid
- Open to new ideas : when asked “can the site do this?” you figure out how
- Proud of your work : you care if people rely on what you produce
What We Are NOT Looking For
- Not a social media influencer role
- Not a graphic-only design position
- Not someone waiting for instructions
- Not someone afraid of technical products
- Not someone who avoids feedback
If you want low responsibility, this is not your job.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
You will:
- Own product page accuracy (specs, manuals, images, downloads)
- Improve page clarity and navigation
- Monitor website analytics and identify friction
- Implement measurable improvements every week
- Produce product, demonstration, and instructional videos
- Translate technical information into understandable content
- Keep marketing, sales, and product information aligned
What This Role Really Is
You will quietly improve how an entire company operates.
Sales will use your pages.
Clients will rely on your videos.
End users will trust your instructions.
You will build systems that make SWS easier to work with.
Ask Yourself
- Do you naturally think client-first and want every digital touchpoint to feel like a world-class experience?
- Do you enjoy turning technical information into something clear and easy to use?
- Do you care deeply about user experience and notice friction others overlook?
- Do you want your work to have visible impact, not just sit behind the scenes?
