Our brand is fun, approachable, and highly visual, and social media plays a key role in how we connect with customers and build excitement around our stores.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to lead and execute our social media strategy across all platforms. This is a hands-on role for someone who can take ownership of our social presence, create compelling content, and drive engagement and brand awareness. The ideal candidate has significant experience managing social media for a consumer-facing brand and can work with a high degree of autonomy. You will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, creating and publishing content, managing our online community, analyzing performance, and collaborating with our internal team to ensure our brand is consistently represented across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with brand and business goals
  • Plan and execute social campaigns around store launches, product launches, promotions, and brand initiatives
  • Develop and implenent marketing initiatives including store openings, product launches, and promotions
  • Identify opportunities for partnerships, collaborations, and user-generated content
  • Identify opportunities to grow our audience and increase engagement across platforms
  • Stay current with platform trends, formats, and algorithm changes to keep our content competitive

Content Creation and Publishing:

  • Plan and maintain a structured social media content calendar
  • Create, edit, and publish engaging content including video, photos, stories, and posts
  • Write clear, engaging captions consistent with the brand voice
  • Coordinate with our graphic designer to develop creative assets
  • Maintain a content library of photos/videos for ongoing use
  • Ensure consistent brand tone and visual identity across platforms

Platform Management:

  • Manage day-to-day activity across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
  • Schedule posts and ensure consistent publishing cadence
  • Actively engage with customers, influencers, and community members online
  • Monitor comments, messages, and mentions, responding in a timely and brand-appropriate way
  • Build and maintain a positive and engaging community around the brand
  • Manage influencer collaborations and content partnerships

Performance & Optimization:

  • Track and analyze social media performance metrics
  • Provide regular reporting on engagement, reach, growth, and campaign performance
  • Use insights and data to optimize content strategy and posting cadence

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experiencein a similar role (e.g. managing social media for a brand or agency)
  • Proven track record of growing social media engagement and audience
  • Strong content creation skills, particularly short-form video
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms
  • Experience using social media management and analytics tools
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
