Role Overview
The Senior Manager of Affiliate & Creator Growth will own and scale Cymbiotika’s affiliate, creator, and performance partnership ecosystem as a core acquisition channel.
This role is responsible for driving profitable, incremental revenue growth across:
- Traditional affiliate publishers (content, review, loyalty, cashback)
- Discount & deal partners (Rakuten, Honey, etc.)
- Creator and influencer affiliates
- TikTok Affiliate & TikTok Shop
- Performance-based CTV/OTT affiliates
- Strategic performance partnerships
This leader will treat affiliates as a structured performance engine — accountable to contribution margin, incrementality, and long-term LTV — not just top-line ROAS.
Key Responsibilities
1. Affiliate, Creator & Performance Partnership Ownership
- Own affiliate & creator P&L with accountability to incremental revenue and contribution margin
- Develop and execute a scalable strategy across:
- Content publishers
- Loyalty & cashback platforms
- Coupon/deal partners
- Creator affiliates
- TikTok Affiliate
- CTV/OTT performance partners
- Recruit high-value partners aligned with brand positioning and customer quality targets
- Structure commission models and tiering frameworks based on:
- Margin contribution
- Incrementality
- New vs. returning customer mix
- Subscription attachment rate
- Develop frameworks to scale creator success into paid media amplification
2. CTV & Emerging Affiliate Channels
- Develop and manage performance-driven CTV/OTT affiliate relationships
- Evaluate commerce-enabled streaming partnerships and trackable placements
- Partner with Paid Media and Analytics to:
- Measure CTV incrementality
- Align attribution methodology
- Evaluate MER impact and blended CAC
- Structure test-and-scale frameworks for performance CTV partners
- Forecast contribution from emerging affiliate channels
3. Media Planning & Performance Optimization
- Develop quarterly affiliate media plans across:
- Publisher affiliates
- Cashback & loyalty platforms
- Creator programs
- TikTok Affiliate
- CTV affiliates
- Allocate investment across partner types based on:
- CAC efficiency
- Contribution margin
- Subscriber quality
- Cohort LTV
- Run incrementality tests (geo, holdout, or structured A/B) to validate partner value
- Analyze cannibalization across Paid, Affiliate, and Lifecycle channels
- Build forecasting models to project revenue, subscriber growth, and blended MER impact
4. TikTok Affiliate & Creator Commerce
- Lead TikTok Affiliate strategy:
- Creator recruitment & onboarding
- Commission structuring
- Offer alignment
- Performance optimization
- Track creator-level performance and systematically scale top contributors
- Partner with Social & Paid teams to amplify high-performing creator content
5. Data, Attribution & Infrastructure
- Build reporting frameworks beyond platform dashboards:
- Incremental CAC
- Blended ROAS
- MER impact
- Contribution margin
- Cohort LTV
- Partner with Analytics/Engineering to ensure:
- Accurate tracking and event integrity
- Proper UTM governance
- CRM integration
- Subscription attribution accuracy
- Improve tracking architecture across affiliate and performance platforms (Impact, CJ, Rakuten, TikTok Affiliate, CTV measurement partners)
- Identify automation opportunities in reporting, commission management, and partner communications
Required Qualifications
- 5–7+ years of experience in affiliate, performance partnerships, or growth marketing
- Experience managing:
- Publisher affiliates
- Cashback/loyalty programs
- Creator/influencer affiliate programs
- TikTok Affiliate or social commerce
- Experience testing or managing performance CTV/OTT partnerships
- Strong analytical background with forecasting and LTV modeling experience
- Deep understanding of attribution and incrementality frameworks
- Experience working with affiliate platforms (Impact, CJ, Rakuten, etc.)
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (cohort modeling, forecasting, scenario planning)
- Proven ability to scale acquisition channels profitably
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in subscription-based DTC brands
- Familiarity with CTV measurement and attribution tools
- Experience in wellness, supplements, or CPG
- Exposure to automation and AI-driven partner analysis
