ABOUT SYNERGY

Synergy Weight Loss & Primary Care is a growing medical practice in Lewisville, Texas built around board-certified internal medicine and medically supervised weight loss. We are a small, tight-knit team of four -- and we take enormous pride in the kind of practice we are running: family-oriented, warm, professional, and deeply committed to our patients and our community.

We are now looking for a creative, driven individual to help us tell that story.

THE ROLE

This is a dual role -- part social media manager, part content marketer -- for someone who genuinely loves the craft of building an audience and knows how to make a practice like ours stand out online. You do not need a massive personal following. You need to understand how to build one for someone else.

You will be the voice, lens, and creative engine behind our digital presence. You will come into the office on at least once a week, up to 3x a week for one to two hours to film, interview staff, capture moments, and help plan content. Editing and post-production are done on your own time, on your own schedule.

WHAT YOU WILL BE CREATING

• Instagram posts including single-image posts, carousels, Reels, and short-form video
• Educational content that makes medical topics approachable and easy to understand for everyday patients
• Behind-the-scenes and team spotlight content -- we want our staff seen and celebrated
• Holiday and community-oriented posts that reflect our family-centered values
• Content with clear calls to action driving patients to call or book online at synergyhealthpc.com
• Occasional event coverage and after-hours content as needed

There is no fixed post quota. We care about quality, consistency, and content that actually resonates -- not volume for its own sake.

THE VISION

We want our social media to feel like meeting a friend who happens to be your doctor. Approachable. Genuine. Informative. Warm. We are not trying to look like a hospital system -- we are a small practice with real people, real stories, and real relationships with our patients. Your job is to capture and amplify that.

Content will rotate between three main angles:

• Educational -- weight loss tips, chronic disease awareness, preventive health, medication explainers
• Community & culture -- staff highlights, holidays, practice milestones, patient success themes
• Promotional -- appointment reminders, service spotlights, insurance updates, new offerings

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Prior experience managing social media for a business, brand, or organization -- medical experience is a plus but not required
• Strong understanding of Instagram content strategy: Reels, carousels, captions, hashtags, and engagement
• Video filming and editing skills -- comfortable with a phone camera and basic editing tools
• Creative storytelling instincts and an eye for what performs well
• Ability to work independently and meet self-directed deadlines
• Professional, personable demeanor -- you will be on-camera and interacting with clinical staff and occasionally patients
• Passion for health, wellness, or community-driven content is a genuine plus

You do not need to be an influencer. You need to know how to make one.

COMPENSATION SUMMARY

• $27.00/hour
• 3-6 hours per week
• Flexible scheduling within office hours
• Paid bi-weekly (approximately $100-150/week)
• Editing and post-production hours are managed independently and are included in your overall scope
• No benefits -- part-time position
