International PR & Influencer Marketing Coordinator

MAKEUP BY MARIO , one of the fastest growing brands globally in influencer marketing, is looking for a passionate International PR & Influencer Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team. This role will support the Communications team in driving best-in-class programs for new product launches, evergreen seeding initiatives and will assist in managing agency relationships internationally for press, events, activations and social media.

  • Assist Influencer & Communications Manager in managing relationships with external International PR agencies. Coordinate and note-take on PR meetings with PR agencies.
  • Manage all international evergreen seedings and co-manage launch seeding strategies, addresses, shipping, customizing PR kits and one-offs.
  • Monitor a wide international network of content creators, influencers, industry leaders and partners who embody the culture and values of Makeup By Mario with a focus on color cosmetic authorities and key opinion leaders/brand ambassadors.
  • Assist in development of a cohesive, buzz-driving communications strategy that leads to increased earned media and Earned Media Value (EMV) for the brand
  • Event support inclusive of co-planning and execution (e.g., guest experience, agency and vendor communication and logistics, production schedules and timelines; and post event ROI reporting.
  • Manage internal list of Micro and Mid-Tier influencer opportunities to create content with lead MUA and/or Mario
  • Execute influencer and media events strategy for mid/micro-influencer activations and local retail events aligned to the cultural calendar of international markets and the Global Marketing calendar to deliver engaging experiences
  • Identify VIP influencer opportunities to create content with lead MUA and/or Mario
  • Responsible for global reporting on key KPIs of Influencer and Editorial performance (in partnership with PR agencies) to measure against benchmarks, product performance and engagement
  • Foster and maintain relationships with experiential agency partners, vendors, and venues throughout the region.
  • Function as a thought leader that generates strategic ideas for amplification and activations across all existing and first to market platforms
  • Work alongside the Manager of Influencer & Communications to ensure influencers/content creators are consistently gifted, vetted, invited to key events, etc.
  • Own coordination of influencer & press seedings with INTL agencies, vetting lists, shipping products, etc.
  • Handle and coordinate press interviews with international agencies

Requirements:

  • Required 4 days in New York City office (1 day remote)
  • 1+ years of Communications, Influencer Marketing or Event/Agency experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Beauty, Color Cosmetics, Skincare experience is required
  • Strong understanding of influencer landscape and beauty PR landscape globally
  • Ability to own and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal/written communications and presentation skills
  • Detail and process-oriented, organized, resourceful and proactive
  • Collaborative and positive team player
  • Strong understanding and experience of social media across all platforms
  • Ability to accommodate early morning or night calls with international markets (3-5 hours/month); potential travel to markets (1-2 times/year)
  • Strong PowerPoint skills; proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel; can work on MAC
