Overview

The Nightlife Marketing Associate at Carver Road Hospitality plays a key role in executing and optimizing our digital marketing ecosystem across multiple brands and venues. This position is highly focused on social media strategy, content production, digital reporting, community engagement, influencer coordination, and performance analytics.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, understands culture and entertainment trends, and is passionate about building brands through compelling digital storytelling and measurable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and amplify Flanker SLC’s nightlife marketing strategy across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms, ensuring all DJ nights, themed activations, and special events are fully promoted and visually represented. Working closely with our Digital Marketing Associate & Social Media Manager (Corporate).
  • Partner closely with Programming & Entertainment to align weekly DJ bookings, talent appearances, themed nights, and major sporting events with compelling digital storytelling.
  • Maintain and manage nightlife-focused content calendars in collaboration with the Social Media Manager, ensuring consistent promotion of upcoming events and real-time coverage during activations.
  • Capture high-energy, in-venue photo and video content during nightlife programming, including DJ sets, crowd shots, VIP moments, and behind-the-scenes footage.
  • Produce and assist in short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Stories) that reflects the atmosphere, music, and guest experience of Flanker after dark.
  • Lead nightlife community engagement efforts, responding to DMs, comments, guest tags, promoter inquiries, and real-time event engagement.
  • Conduct influencer and promoter outreach for nightlife events with VP of Programming & Entertainment and coordinating visits and ensuring proper coverage and tagging.
  • Monitor trends in nightlife culture, music, sports, and entertainment to proactively pitch new event concepts, themes, and promotional angles.
  • Support the creation of nightlife-specific digital ad creatives, promotional graphics, event flyers, and social assets.
  • Assist in advancing marketing elements of nightlife events, ensuring talent promotions, event details, and ticketing links are accurate and live across all platforms.
  • Attend professional photo and video shoots related to nightlife programming and assist in post-production coordination.
  • Edit light video and static creative (Canva, Adobe, CapCut or similar platforms) to support timely nightlife promotions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Programming, and Entertainment to ensure seamless execution from promotion to event night performance.
  • Assist in developing systems to track nightlife event performance, including attendance, digital reach, engagement, and promotional impact.
  • Maintain organized digital asset libraries for nightlife content including DJ headshots, event photos, and recap footage.
  • Contribute ideation for new nightlife concepts, themed parties, and revenue-driving activations that support top-line growth for Flanker SLC.
  • Be present on major event nights and high-impact weekends to ensure brand representation, content capture, and marketing alignment on-site.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Marketing or Communications.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in past previous nightlife or day-life marketing hospitality roles.
  • Preferred interest and knowledgeable in Entertainment, Sports & Nightlife.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, Power Point.
    • Plus in Canva, Adobe and other Platforms.
  • Must be knowledgeable and understand Social Media Platforms
    • Meta, X, Tik Tok, Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn
  • Knowing how to pivot at times when in need.
  • Ability to multi-task multiple projects at once and understanding priority.
  • Extremely organized and excellent communication + presentation skills.
  • Well-rounded knowledge of all market segments, and channel sources, as well as ability to develop a strategic plan for each.
  • Major plus in ability to edit content and produce.
