Position Overview

The McGee Group is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support the operational and administrative functions of the marketing department. This role is essential to keeping the team organized, on schedule, and aligned across product launches, campaigns, e-commerce initiatives, and press activities.

The Marketing Coordinator will manage the marketing calendar, oversee sample organization, maintain accurate product data, support e-commerce initiatives, and ensure marketing operations run efficiently. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, strong follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Operations & Administrative Support

  • Own and manage the marketing calendar, ensuring campaigns, product launches, photoshoots, social content, e-commerce updates, and press initiatives remain on schedule.
  • Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional communication to ensure smooth execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain organized marketing documentation, project trackers, and departmental records.
  • Provide administrative support including meeting coordination, agenda preparation, note-taking, follow-ups, and reporting.
  • Assist in budget tracking, invoice processing, and vendor coordination as needed.
  • Other general administrative duties as assigned.

Product Data Management

  • Maintain and update product information across internal systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency of SKUs, descriptions, pricing, launch dates, specifications, and metadata.
  • Perform routine audits of product data to ensure consistency across marketing systems and materials.
  • Collaborate with product development and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate communication of marketing updates.

E-Commerce Support

  • Support e-commerce initiatives including product listing and content management.
  • Upload products and maintain accurate descriptions, metadata, pricing, and imagery across platforms such as Shopify, Amazon and Faire.
  • Ensure catalog accuracy and consistency across all online sales channels.
  • Monitor, update and maintain product content quality.

Inventory & Supplier Coordination

  • Manage and monitor POP stock levels to support marketing initiatives and product launches.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely product availability.
  • Coordinate inventory for POP materials, signage, samples, and other marketing collateral.

Sample & Inventory Management

  • Manage and organize the sample and photoshoot room, ensuring all items are properly cataloged, stored, and accessible.
  • Track inventory of marketing samples and maintain accurate records of all outgoing shipments.
  • Coordinate sample requests for marketing, press, influencers, and sales partners.
  • Prepare product samples for photography and marketing initiatives.
  • Must be able to lift and move boxes and product shipments up to 20 lbs.

Digital Asset & Marketing Systems Management

  • Maintain and organize the digital asset management system to ensure assets are current and easily retrievable.
  • Support email marketing and CRM initiatives, including list management and campaign coordination.
  • Assist with marketing reporting, compiling recaps of social media, email, e-commerce, and press activity.

Required:

  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong operational and administrative capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.

Preferred:

  • Experience with HubSpot or other CRM/email marketing platforms.
  • Experience with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Etsy, WooCommerce, or other e-commerce platforms.
  • Experience with product information management (PIM) or digital asset management systems.
  • Previous experience in marketing operations, product coordination, inventory management, or administrative support.
  • Interest in fashion, eyewear, or consumer goods industries.
