Job Description

A leading global entertainment company is seeking a Senior Social Marketing Manager to join their social and influencer marketing team. This role is ideal for a confident, creative, and data-driven marketer with a proven track record leading social campaigns for top-tier studios or streaming services.

You will oversee social marketing campaigns from soup to nuts , supporting titles launching this summer and taking the lead on fall campaigns, spanning both movies and series. This role includes supporting major tentpole campaigns, experiential events, and ongoing social initiatives, including a high-profile YA campaign.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution , and confidently guiding internal teams, agency partners, and talent on the ground at events.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Initially step into a support role for summer title launches, taking more lead on fall campaigns.
  • Lead social marketing campaigns end-to-end: pre-production, launch, and sustain phases.
  • Support both movies and series, with exposure to tentpole campaigns and experiences.
  • Provide extra support on YA campaigns—observing, reporting, and contributing ideas without leading.
  • Attend premieres, press junkets, conventions, and experiential events, capturing on-the-ground social content.
  • Collaborate closely with internal marketing leadership and external agency partners.
  • Present social strategy, insights, and campaign plans in leadership meetings.

Must-Haves

  • Experience: 7+ years at the Director or Senior Manager level in entertainment marketing.
  • Campaign Leadership: Proven success leading social marketing campaigns for studios or streaming platforms
  • Talent Confidence: Comfortable directing talent at events for social content, red carpet, or experiential activations.
  • Campaign Expertise: Experience with 360° digital marketing (theatrical campaigns, experiential events, paid media exposure is a nice-to-have)
  • Measurement & Reporting: Strong understanding of social measurement and reporting.
  • Tools: Proficient with Google Suite, PowerPoint, Airtable (nice-to-have), Smartsheet (nice-to-have), and social reporting tools (Sprinklr, ListenFirst).
  • Portfolio: Demonstrable work from previous campaigns showing strategy, creative development, and measurable results.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel ~25% (mainly NYC, potential international).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
