We have an immediate opening for a Director of Marketing, based in our Overland Park, office. We’re looking for an experienced and versatile professional to lead MMGY’s agency marketing engine. A key architect of our brand story, you will also own MMGY’s content strategy, ensuring we consistently develop and publish compelling points of view and proof that earns attention and drives demand in a rapidly evolving industry.

This role is a leader and a do-er who can set strategy, build a practical marketing playbook, and produce work across paid, earned and owned channels. You will partner closely with the SVP, PR and Communications, the Chief Growth Officer, and internal channel experts to drive stronger inbound opportunity flow and support proactive growth efforts.

Responsibilities* Support the SVP, PR & Communications, in the leadership of the agency’s marketing and communications team, including mentorship and management of the Marketing & Communications Manager and Growth & Marketing Copywriter.

  • Lead MMGY’s industry positioning through clear marketing strategy and a practical thought leadership plan for senior leaders.
  • Build and run lead generation campaigns that attract higher-quality inbound opportunities and nurture them through the funnel.
  • Own MMGY’s content strategy and editorial calendar, turning our expertise into thought-provoking content that supports consistent inbound and proactive growth.
  • Lead day-to-day management of MMGY’s digital marketing platforms such as social media and the agency website, including content planning and site updates in partnership with internal and external teams.
  • Develop and operationalize an agency marketing playbook that connects and elevates brand messaging, proof points and channel activation plans across our global markets.
  • Lead planning and management of agency events and activation at industry conferences in close coordination with internal stakeholders.
  • Track and manage the marketing budget and report on performance with clear recommendations for optimization.

Qualifications* 5-8 years of marketing experience, ideally including B2B marketing for an agency or professional services firm.

  • Experience leading content planning, editorial development and distribution across shared and owned channels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong editorial judgment.
  • Strong project management, multitasking and critical-thinking skills.
  • Metrics-driven marketing mindset with an eye for creative quality and brand consistency.
  • Proficiency with online marketing, email marketing and social media strategy.
  • Comfort using CRM and reporting to connect marketing activity to pipeline outcomes
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Word and Excel required; working knowledge of Adobe Suite and WordPress a plus.
