What You’ll Do
Event Planning & Execution
- Coordinate all aspects of events including layouts, catering, A/V, and décor
- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure seamless service
- Lead BEO execution and communicate details clearly to staff
- Conduct post-event evaluations to improve operations
- Build and maintain relationships with local vendors
Sales Support & Revenue Strategy
- Support the Director of Sales with site tours and booking decisions
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners
- Participate in weekly revenue and strategy meetings
- Help ensure a balanced and profitable mix of business
- Meet monthly revenue goals across event spaces, F&B, and group rooms
- Attend networking events, trade shows, and community events as needed
Client Experience
- Serve as the main contact for event details when needed
- Conduct site inspections and property tours
- Greet and engage with clients during events
- Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally
Marketing & Property Programming
- Assist with social media, marketing campaigns, and website content
- Contribute to programming, promotions, and on-site experiences
- Participate in marketing meetings and help execute initiatives
- Host influencer and community events at the property
Restaurant Support
- On non-event days, assist the restaurant team by hosting or supporting the Food & Beverage Manager as needed
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of hotel and food & beverage experience required
- Strong background in events, banquets, and F&B operations
- Experience with social media, digital marketing, and content creation
Skills
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking abilities
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to travel occasionally for networking or industry events
- Capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs when needed
