Plush Marketing Agency is looking for a confident, personable, detail-obsessed Social Media Shoot Producer based in Arlington, VA to support our growing roster of clients across Washington, DC, Northern Virginia, Potomac, and Ashburn.
This is a freelance, part-time opportunity with room to grow into strategy, content creation, and even full-time content creation and social media for the right person.

The Role: Be the Face of Plush On-Site
Your primary role will be to lead and support on-site social media shoots for our clients.
You’ll act as:
- The main point of contact between the client and Plush
- The on-site producer, ensuring the shot list is captured perfectly
- The calm, confident energy that keeps shoots running smoothly
- The detail-oriented closer who never lets anything fall through the cracks
You’ll work alongside a photographer and/or videographer (depending on the shoot). Shoots typically last 2–4 hours and take place within your designated coverage zone: Arlington, DC, Alexandria, Potomac, Ashburn, and surrounding Northern Virginia areas.
Sometimes clients will be present.
Sometimes you’ll be confidently running the shoot on their behalf.
Training is provided — personality and professionalism are everything.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Directing and facilitating social media shoots on-site
- Managing and executing shot lists with precision
- Working with hired talent and/or client team members
- Capturing high-quality b-roll using your phone
- Representing Plush with professionalism and positivity
- Communicating updates clearly with the internal team
- Traveling within the DMV region for shoots (you are responsible for your own transportation)

Technical Requirements
- Must be proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar)
- Comfortable using Dropbox
- Asana experience is a major plus
- Must have a newer phone model (within 3 years) capable of capturing high-quality video
- Reliable transportation for travel throughout Northern Virginia and DC
Growth Opportunity

Work is allocated on an as-needed basis to start (typically 10–20 hours per week), with strong potential for expansion based on performance.
Compensation
$30–$50 per hour
(Based on experience, confidence, and demonstrated skill set)
