Tony’s Tacos is one of Long Island’s fastest-growing restaurant brands — known for bold flavors, high-energy service, and a culture built on teamwork and creativity. With multiple locations and more on the way, we’re ready to take our brand and customer engagement to the next level. We’re seeking a Director of Marketing to lead our marketing strategy, creative execution, and community presence from our Garden City headquarters.

Position Overview

The Director of Marketing will develop and execute the overall marketing strategy for Tony’s Tacos — strengthening brand awareness, increasing customer loyalty, and driving revenue growth across all locations. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance strategic thinking with creative execution in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and execute the brand’s annual marketing plan, including campaigns, promotions, partnerships, and local-store marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee all brand communications and creative direction — ensuring consistency across in-store, digital, and community channels.
  • Lead social media, email, digital advertising, and influencer programs to increase traffic and customer engagement.
  • Manage public relations, media outreach, and event marketing for store openings and community events.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, agencies, and media partners.
  • Track and report key marketing metrics (sales lift, traffic growth, customer retention, and ROI).
  • Collaborate with operations and leadership to align marketing efforts with business goals.
  • Manage a small team of designers, content creators, and marketing coordinators.

Qualifications

  • 5 – 10 years of marketing experience, preferably in hospitality, restaurant, or retail brand marketing.
  • Proven success creating and executing multi-channel campaigns that deliver measurable results.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms (Meta, Google Ads, email automation, CRM, etc.).
  • Ability to thrive in a creative, fast-moving environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
