JOB PURPOSE:
We are looking for a social media creator who can make scroll-stopping content and lead creators to drive visibility, engagement, and sales. The Social Content Associate will collaborate with all members of the Marketing team to assist in the execution of social media strategies and initiatives across our game brands. The ideal candidate will be forward-thinking, have a strong work ethic, and will be highly engaged across all relevant social media channels. The Marketing Associate will bring products to life across social channels and have a high degree of interaction with influencers and external media relations.

ABOUT THE JOB:

As a Social Media Marketing Associate, you will shape Buffalo Games and East Point Sports’ social presence across TikTok, Instagram, Meta, and YouTube. This hands-on role blends content creation and directing influencer partnerships to build brand love, spark conversation, and driving awareness and conversion.
You will be dreaming up and creating platform-optimized short-form videos, crafting impactful copy, and engaging viewers in authentic and creative ways. You will get to play with the voice of our brands and constantly experiment with new formats and strategies to keep our content fresh and timely.
You will also guide influencers and creators to do the same—using smart, performance-driven strategy wrapped in a playful brand voice. From launching new titles to scaling winning content formats and creator collaborations, you will bring our games to life through videos, copy, and campaigns that make people stop scrolling, start smiling, and start playing.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Create engaging, high-energy, platform-optimized content from concepting, scripting, shooting, and editing short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube that build visibility and encourage purchase or promoting our brand for PR.
- Test new formats, trends, and viral concepts to grow reach and engagement.
- Monitor performance metrics and continuously optimize content strategy to apply learnings to new content.
- Build relationships - source, vet, and build a network of influencers and content creators across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for influencer partners.
- Direct creator partnerships, providing clear creative guidance that aligns with campaign goals, brand voice, and conversion strategy.
- Lead UGC-style content initiatives - identifying strong creators, shaping narratives, and ensuring content performs across organic and paid channels.
- Track budgets, benchmarks, and performance metrics.
- Plan, schedule, publish, and analyze social content, identifying top performers and outliers for paid amplification and reporting insights to marketing and sales teams.
- Continuously refine short-form and influencer strategy through testing, data analysis, and iteration—scaling what works and evolving creative approaches.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Undergraduate degree with 3+ years of experience in social media marketing or content creation
- Proven success creating short-form video content (TikTok/Reels/Shorts) that drive results.
- Proficiency with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools
- Demonstrate experience managing influencer or creator partnerships.
- Impeccable project management and organizational skills
- Experience with Google Analytics, social listening tools, and reporting
- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Agency, DTC, consumer products, gaming, or entertainment experience preferred.
- Experience driving viral social media campaigns.
- Ability to manage multiple marketing projects at once.
- Experience with trend-tracking online tools
- Ability to identify new Influencers and affiliates.
- Strong time management and communication skills, with excellent diligence
- Self-starter able to manage projects and complete tasks with minimal supervision and guidance.
- Ability to balance long-term strategies with short-term execution.
- Outstanding creative, artistic, and critical thinking skills
- Bonus points if you regularly play games, and board games!
