Social Media and Marketing Manager

Realm Guard is the 1# fastest growing trading card game accessory brand in the country, rooted in friendshield, family, and a shared love of games. Our mission is to deliver exceptional TCG products that inspire play and connection, crafting innovative, premium experiences that honor the players we are, and more importantly, the community we serve.

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager for a 3 month contract with the possability of full time at contract end who can own our online presence end-to-end: content strategy, filming, editing, posting, and community engagement. If you know your way around a camera, can cut clean, punchy edits, and you genuinely enjoy TCGs (especially Magic: The Gathering), this is for you.

What You’ll Do

• Own Realm Guard’s social presence across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
• Along side our content team, create and execute a weekly content plan: product spotlights, skits, trends, community moments, tournament/event recaps, behind-the-scenes, and brand storytelling.
• Film and edit short-form videos (hooks, captions, lighting) optimized for performance.
• Be comfortable on camera, charismatic and knowledgeable.
• Capture content with camera + lighting + audio setups (and/or mobile setups when appropriate)
• Manage the full workflow: ideation → scripting → filming → editing → posting → analytics → iteration.
• Engage the community: comments, DMs, collaborations, creators, and partners.
• Track performance and report insights to improve reach, retention, and conversion.

Who You Are

• You’ve managed social accounts for a brand (or built your own) and can show real examples
• You’re fluent in both short & long form video culture and know what makes content “stick”
• You have hands-on experience with camera equipment DSLR's, lens's, lighting, and audio.
• You have editing experience (Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci, CapCut—whatever gets results)
• You play trading card games—ideally Magic: The Gathering—and understand the community
• You’re proactive, creative, and don’t need hand-holding to turn an idea into a finished post.
