Job Summary

As an Industrial Sales Manager, you will be primarily responsible for developing and executing on sales strategies for the North American market and driving sales of NELCO Worldwide industrial shielding solutions through partners, distributors, and end users. The industrial market includes the following segments:

· Non-destructive testing

· E-Beam sterilization

· Radiopharmaceutical manufacturing

· Nuclear power

The qualified Industrial Sales Manager will identify and qualify opportunities, respond to inquiries, develop and deliver proposals, and close sales in the radiation shielding industrial markets.

Industrial Sales Manager – Major Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and execute sales strategies for the global industrial business in the North American market.

· Generate business opportunities and collaborate with internal cross-functional teams.

· Prepare and deliver sales presentations.

· Provide a high level of customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

· Forecast new business and bookings; set sales quotas and goals.

· Prospect and ensure territory development.

· Maintain a high comfort level with direct sales and cold calling. (phone or in person)

· Work with key OEM players to build and maintain relationships.

· Respond to inquiries, develop and deliver proposals, and build the sales pipeline.

· Achieve annual revenue goals.

· Ensure accurate scope definition, risk identification, and handoff from sales to execution.

· Manage sales and business development activities in CRM.

Relationship Management

· Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers, including:

· National laboratories

· Integrators

· Industrial equipment manufacturers

· General contractors, subcontractors, and architects specializing in industrial facilities

· Develop strategic partnerships with influencers such as OEMs, integrators, architects, and general contractors.

Additional Responsibilities

· Collaborate with the marketing team to set and execute marketing strategies.

· Manage forecasts and budgets for the business.

· Provide upstream input to technical teams to drive new product development.

· Contribute to mid- and long-term business planning and strategies.

· Serve as the primary commercial interface between customers and internal engineering, project management, and installation teams.

Other Duties

· Represent NELCO at technical meetings, trade shows, and product knowledge presentations.

· Analyze market trends and recommend strategies to increase revenue and profitability.

· Prepare sales budgets and projections.

Industrial Sales Manager – Job Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or math, or a minimum of 10 years of commercial, services, or project management experience.

· Minimum of 5 years of prior sales experience, preferably within one of the industrial markets.

· Solid interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills demonstrated strong presentation skills.

· Knowledge of industrial X-ray systems and field radiography applications.

· Proactive, resourceful, self-motivated team player.

· Excellent time management and multitasking skills.

· Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

· Ability to travel 50% of the time.

Physical Demands/Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the individual is frequently required to move about inside the office to access filing cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other standard office equipment such as copy machines, phones, photocopiers, fax machines and computer printers. The staff member in this position frequently communicates internally and externally; must be able to exchange accurate information via phone, email, and/or in person. Specific vision abilities apply including close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.

This position operates in a clerical office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $107,000.00 per year
