Creative Director Social
Full-time
San Francisco, CA, USA
About the job
We are looking for a Community Engagement Specialist to support one of our major enterprise clients in the software space. In this role, you'll be embedded with the client’s social team and serve as a visible, trusted voice within creator communities.
This is an ideal opportunity for a photographer, micro‑influencer, or creator who actively uses Photoshop and Lightroom, produces original creative work, and maintains a vibrant personal social presence. You’ll inspire creators, offer authentic support, and engage in meaningful conversations across social platforms.
Responsibilities:
Engage photographers, creators, and community advocates across social channels.
Respond to comments and questions with clarity, empathy, and a human tone.
Provide accurate product support via brand accounts and approved personal channels.
Use judgment to apply humor, reassurance, clarification, or escalation when appropriate.
Participate in sensitive conversations following established guidelines (no crisis comms ownership).
Maintain deep understanding of creative workflows, product features, updates, and known issues.
Collaborate monthly on educational content such as tutorials, FAQs, tips, or feature explanations.
Publish approved content on brand channels and your personal social accounts (with required disclosures).
Communicate product knowledge in an accessible, creator‑friendly voice.
Track conversations to identify trends, recurring questions, and sentiment shifts.
Share actionable insights with internal teams to inform product and social strategy.
Provide clear summaries and observations to support ongoing community health.
Use approved social management tools to monitor inbound activity and surface engagement opportunities.
Maintain an active, brand‑safe personal social presence that reflects your creator credibility.
Deliver consistent, high‑quality engagement at scale.
A photographer with an active personal social media presence showcasing your creativity, style, and original work.
A current, hands-on Photoshop and Lightroom user (required).
Someone who communicates thoughtfully in comments and public conversations.
A creator with a modest but engaged following—not seeking large influencers who prefer less-than-full-time roles.
Passionate about helping creators learn, improving creative workflows, and representing a global brand authentically.
Experience engaging publicly on behalf of a brand is a plus.
Strong digital communication skills, high emotional intelligence, and excellent judgment in fast-paced online environments.
Innovation starts with people.®
