Role Summary
Wind River is seeking a creative and proactive Marketing & Communications Specialist to help shape and strengthen the company’s brand identity as a leading builder and innovator within the tiny home and modular housing industries.
This role is a key contributor within a small, collaborative team responsible for product marketing, brand marketing, and both internal and external communications. The ideal candidate brings a versatile marketing skill set, strong design awareness, and a research-driven mindset focused on elevating Wind River’s presence as a leader in right-sized livable luxury.
This position is well suited for a self-starter who thrives on initiative, organization, and detail-oriented execution.
Core Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Content Management
- Assist in planning, implementing, and managing new and existing marketing and brand strategies across all platforms.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive content calendar to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment.
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials, communications, and company initiatives.
- Manage and update the Wind River website, collaborating with external web development partners as needed.
- Conduct industry research and propose innovative marketing opportunities and strategies.
Social Media & Communications
- Manage Wind River social media platforms, including: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter (X) , Pinterest, and TikTok
- Create, design, and distribute monthly internal and external newsletters.
- Manage the company blog, including content creation, compilation, and publishing.
- Serve as a resource supporting internal communications that enhance employee experience and company culture.
Marketing Operations & Events
- Assist in designing and ordering branded materials, print marketing assets, and company merchandise.
- Support event planning and coordination, including logistics, staging, and travel arrangements.
- Assist with planning and staging company photo and video shoots.
- Support brand collaborations and influencer partnerships.
- Collaborate with leadership on sales and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field or 2–3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience managing multi-platform social media accounts and digital content.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated visual/design awareness.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and collaborate cross-functionally with multiple departments.
