Director of Marketing

Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid – 3–4 days onsite)

Salary: Up to $175,000 base + bonus + benefits

We are a fast-growing beauty care company headquartered in Philadelphia, building premium personal care and cosmetic brands sold through DTC, Amazon, and national retail distribution. Our products combine innovation, clean ingredients, and bold brand storytelling to create loyal customer communities.

As we scale nationally, we are looking for a strategic and execution-oriented Director of Marketing to lead brand growth, customer acquisition, and omnichannel marketing performance.

What You’ll Own

Brand & Strategy

  • Develop and execute full-funnel marketing strategy (DTC, retail, marketplace)
  • Own brand positioning, messaging, and campaign direction
  • Lead seasonal launches and product go-to-market strategy
  • Drive brand storytelling across digital, social, and retail channels

Digital & Performance Marketing

  • Oversee paid media (Meta, Google, TikTok, Amazon Ads)
  • Optimize CAC, LTV, ROAS, and conversion performance
  • Manage CRM lifecycle marketing (email, SMS, retention)
  • Lead influencer and affiliate marketing strategy

Retail & Trade Marketing

  • Partner with sales team to support retail sell-through initiatives
  • Manage in-store marketing, promotions, and merchandising strategy
  • Coordinate product launch calendars with major retail partners

Analytics & Growth

  • Build KPI dashboards and performance reporting
  • Leverage data to drive testing, A/B experimentation, and scaling
  • Forecast marketing budget and ROI allocation

Leadership

  • Lead and grow internal marketing team (digital, content, creative)
  • Manage agency partners (creative, PR, media buying)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Operations

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience
  • Beauty, skincare, cosmetics, or personal care industry experience strongly preferred
  • Strong DTC and eCommerce marketing background
  • Proven success scaling paid media and digital acquisition
  • Experience launching products into retail distribution
  • Data-driven mindset with strong financial acumen
  • Experience managing teams and external agencies
