Leader of Business Development - Georgia
Full-time
Atlanta, GA, USA
About the job
Who You Are You are a consultative business developer who loves working with independent primary care practices. You are energized by sitting across from a physician owner, understanding what keeps them up at night and co‑designing a path that helps them stay independent, care for their sickest senior patients and get paid fairly for that work. You balance discipline around goals and pipeline with a partnership mindset that builds long‑term, trusted relationships rather than transactional sales. If you are “all in” on helping independent medicine thrive, we want to talk to you.
Who We Are Oasis Health Partners (Oasis) is building healthier communities by advancing primary care. We are an all‑in‑one partner for independent primary care practices. We focus on Medicare Value‑based care (VBC) programs (Medicare Advantage and MSSP) and surround them with practical support so they can deliver better care while building durable practices. Our model helps providers spend more time on proactive, high‑value care for seniors, while Oasis brings the data, tools and team to support them behind the scenes.
We’ve built a fast‑growing network of Primary Care Providers (PCPs) and Independent Physician Associations (IPAs) and are still early in our growth story. Backed by leading healthcare investors (GV and Triple Aim Partners), we are scaling into new markets and expanding our suite of provider solutions. We are committed to keeping the practice of independent medicine alive and we are looking for people who want to build that future with us.
Your Role The Business Development Leader is responsible for growing Oasis’s footprint of primary care practices in Georgia and deepening our impact within that network. You will recruit new PCPs into Oasis’s Medicare value‑based care programs and help existing Oasis practices adopt our enablement services where it supports their goals. Success in this role is measured first by growth in attributed Medicare lives, then by the number of high‑quality practices you bring into the network and finally by adoption of our broader services.
You will work closely with the Georgia Market Executive Director and central teams to design and execute a thoughtful, repeatable growth strategy for your state.
Additional Responsibilities
- Build and execute a market‑specific growth plan focused on small‑ to mid‑size independent PCPs and IPAs across the state.
- Manage a disciplined pipeline that consistently delivers growth in attributed Medicare lives and net new independent PCP contracts.
- Lead a consultative sales process with physician owners and practice leaders, tailoring the conversation to their mix of Medicare Advantage, MSSP and practice‑level needs.
- Clearly explain how Oasis’s Medicare value‑based care programs work and how Oasis helps practices stay independent, care for complex senior patients and improve financial sustainability.
- Introduce our broader suite of practice support solutions (revenue cycle support, EMR transition support, purchasing/GPO, care management capabilities) where they solve real problems for the practice.
- Build strong relationships with physicians, office managers and care teams through regular in‑person meetings, local events and proactive outreach.
- Partner closely with market leadership, provider success, clinical and operations teams to ensure a smooth handoff from initial agreement to successful onboarding and performance.
- Provide structured field feedback on provider needs, objections and market dynamics to help refine our product, enablement services and go‑to‑market messaging.
- Help localize pitch materials and talking points so they resonate with PCPs in your state.
- Represent Oasis at local primary care, IPA and Medicare‑focused events as a champion for independent medicine.
Investment In Our Team
We invest in the personal and professional success of our team. We take care of our people and offer robust benefits including medical, dental, vision and generous time off plans. We are committed to supporting your growth with a development program that starts with onboarding and continues throughout your career. As an inclusive, passionate and diverse team, you will partner with professionals who understand the importance of high-value, high-impact patient care.
About You
- You have a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience selling directly to physicians and their teams. Experience with Medicare VBC or provider enablement solutions is strongly preferred.
- You have a proven track record selling to physicians and practice leaders in a consultative, multi-stakeholder environment (VBC enablement, Medicare Advantage/MSSP, RCM/EMR solutions, Health Systems or provider services)
- You care deeply about independent primary care and can speak credibly to the challenges these practices face.
- You are skilled at uncovering practice‑level needs and tailoring how you position solutions, rather than relying on a one‑size‑fits‑all pitch.
- You are disciplined about pipeline management and comfortable using a CRM and other tools to track activity, forecast results and manage follow‑through.
- You work well in a matrixed environment and know how to pull in internal partners (clinical, provider success, operations, contracting, marketing) to advance opportunities and deliver on commitments.
- You are an excellent communicator and influencer, with the ability to build trust quickly and maintain long‑term relationships.
- You understand and respect compliance requirements for working with physicians and selling within healthcare.
- You are an excellent communicator and influencer, with the ability to build trust quickly and maintain long‑term relationships.
- You are based in Georgia or have deep market familiarity and are willing to travel
