Position Overview
The Marketing and Philanthropic Manager – Yellow Rose is responsible for positioning the Yellow Rose by Kendra Scott flagship location as a brand-led community hub that delivers culturally relevant, high-impact experiences—particularly during peak tentpole brand moments. This role supports both the flagship Austin market as well as our San Antonio market.
Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Regional Marketing – Yellow Rose, this role serves as the on-the-ground extension of the Brand Marketing team within the flagship environment. The MPM works in close collaboration with the Sr. Manager and Flagship Store Manager to ensure seamless alignment between brand strategy and retail execution.
The MPM is accountable for driving traffic and achieving event performance goals tied to key tentpole brand initiatives, ensuring flagship programming meaningfully contributes to both brand equity and store performance.
This structure reinforces that the role is brand-first, externally facing, and experience-led—while maintaining strong integration with retail execution and measurable business impact.
Responsibilities
Brand & Community Strategy
- Own the flagship’s community and event strategy in alignment with overall Regional Marketing priorities.
- Serve as the on-the-ground representative of the Regional Marketing team within the flagship market.
- Translate national campaigns into localized, experiential moments that feel culturally relevant and elevated.
- Identify opportunities to create sustained community engagement programs versus one-time activations.
Community Outreach & Partnerships* Identify, secure, and manage strategic local partnerships (creators, artisans, hospitality partners, nonprofits, media, etc.).
- Serve as the primary brand ambassador for the flagship within the local market.
- Cultivate long-term relationships that expand brand reach and credibility.
- Ensure all partnerships align with brand positioning and strategic priorities.
Event Programming & Production* Own the annual and quarterly flagship event calendar.
- Concept, plan, and execute premium events including:
- Product launches
- VIP and loyalty experiences
- Influencer and press moments
- Panels, workshops, and cultural events
- Manage event budgets, vendor relationships, timelines, and run-of-show execution.
- Deliver seamless, elevated experiences that reflect brand standards.
Flagship Retail Alignment (Dotted-Line Scope)* Partner closely with the Sr. Manager and Store Manager to align programming with sales goals and key tentpole moments.
- Ensure events integrate seamlessly into the selling floor without compromising the customer experience.
- Collaborate on staffing plans and peak traffic management during events.
- Train and inspire store teams on event hospitality, storytelling, and brand experience delivery.
Measurement & Insights* Track and report on event and partnership performance, including traffic-driving initiatives and sales impact.
- Monitor brand engagement metrics and community growth.
- Share insights, learnings, and best practices with Sr. Manager and Retail leadership.
- Identify opportunities to scale successful flagship initiatives to other markets.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing is preferred
- 5+ years’ relevant experience in marketing, community affairs, business development or a related field
- Ability to manage a flexible work schedule, including ability to work weekends and evenings as necessary to support local events
