Position Intro

Reporting into Capcom USA’s Senior Manager, Marketing Strategy, the Manager, Influencer Marketing Strategy will manage and execute different aspects of Capcom’s Influencer Marketing activations. This includes leading the day-to-day responsibilities of managing the Capcom Creators Program, leading the strategy and execution behind paid influencer campaigns, and helping facilitate influencer events included but not limited to tournaments and milestone/celebratory events. This person will work closely with members of the marketing and communications team to establish and execute best practices when it comes to all things related to influencer marketing for Capcom. This role requires the candidate to have strong organization, planning, and communication skills to match their social media acumen and exceptional taste when it comes to what resonates with both influencers and the audiences they interact with in the gaming world. Candidates who will do well in this role will formulate evidence or market-insight based recommendations on what makes influencers and their content successful, while also understanding how gaming companies can leverage these influencers to push forward fandom, sales, and other benefits to the company. The candidate will also understand that ‘what is trending’ is constantly changing and must be tapped into both gaming and internet culture to evaluate, select, and brief influencers for different marketing activations.Responsibilities:

  • Influencer Organizational Strategy Development
    • Define the organization’s overall influencer strategy across paid and organic programs to allow flexibility to be effective in various circumstances across a variety of Capcom games and marketing beats
      • Develop and maintain influencer documentation for the organization to establish best practices and decision-making frameworks
      • Work with cross functional analytics teams to set up dashboards and establish KPIs that ultimately define success for different influencer activations
  • Paid Influencer Campaign Execution
    • Plan and execute paid influencer campaigns from strategy development to product launch, ensuring alignment with brand strategy, communications strategy, and overarching creative platforms
      • Source, evaluate, and select influencers ensuring target audiences and creative concepts and content deliverables drive measurable returns
      • Monitor, report, and analyze campaign and test results and provide insights to the brand and communications teams to optimize and improve future campaigns
  • Capcom Creators Program Management
    • Develop and execute the influencer program strategy to align with evolving business goals and key marketing beats, including new title launches and major sales periods
      • Manage the influencer agency and work through the Communications team to build and facilitate relationships with content creators by providing campaign briefs, evaluating creative proposals, and ensuring effective communication to maximize content impact
      • Collaborate with internal teams to provide necessary assets, maintain brand guidelines, and oversee creator selection and ongoing partnership management
      • Define and report on program KPIs to measure impact and optimize performance against organizational objectives
  • Other duties as required

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 5 ~ 8+ years of progressively complex related experience in influencer marketing management, preferably from an influencer agency or brand-side in the gaming/entertainment industry
  • Experience managing and executing influencer marketing campaigns through an external agency or via influencer marketing platforms
  • Excellent understanding of gaming, and pop culture with exceptional taste and an eye for what resonates with consumers and how to leverage trends
  • Experience with and proficient use of the basics of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts, etc.), PowerPoint, and other necessary digital tools including research and analysis tools
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to communicate and collaborate with staff of all levels and divisions, including executive management, as well as internal and external partners
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize initiatives effectively, and learn new skill sets and tools quickly
  • Must be a pro-active team player that is detail oriented, self-motivated and time efficient

Salary Range:

$110,000 - $130,000*Compensation for this position will be determined based on relevant factors including, but not limited to, job knowledge, experience and qualification.
