Role Description
The Senior Social Media Coordinator supports the execution of organic social and influencer programs while contributing creative ideas and platform expertise. This role manages day-to-day content publishing, community management, reporting, and influencer coordination.
This is ideal for someone ready to grow into strategy but who still enjoys being close to the craft and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Organic Content Execution
- Manage social calendars and publishing schedules.
- Draft captions and platform-native copy.
- Support content ideation and brainstorms.
- Monitor comments, messages, and community engagement.
Influencer Coordination
- Assist with creator research and outreach.
- Support contract tracking, deliverable management, and approvals.
- Help ensure timely publishing and compliance requirements.
LinkedIn Support
- Draft LinkedIn content for executive accounts under strategist guidance.
- Schedule and monitor LinkedIn posts.
- Track engagement and optimize based on performance.
Performance Reporting
- Pull platform data and build reports.
- Track KPIs and assist with performance insights.
- Identify trends and recommend small optimizations.
Creative & Platform Support
- Stay current on trends and emerging formats.
- Contribute ideas during planning sessions.
- Help maintain a strong social-first lens across work.
Qualifications
Required
- 3–5+ years in social media marketing.
- Strong writing skills.
- Platform fluency across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Meta.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects.
Nice to Have
- Paid Social familiarity.
- Influencer coordination experience.
- Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency.
- Experience in public sector or higher education.
Work Environment
This role is primarily based at our Rancho Cordova office, with a hybrid schedule of four in-office days per week.
