As we expand into new markets, we’re looking for someone experienced and driven to join our Growth & Strategy team as a Marketing Manager. This will be a key role responsible for shaping and executing marketing strategies that grow audiences and sell tickets across our venues.

About The Role:

The Marketing Manager will lead marketing strategy and execution for Venu’s live events. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who combines creative vision with data-driven insights to grow audiences and maximize ticket sales.

The role will focus on leading live event marketing initiatives, audience engagement, digital content strategy, and overall brand development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building successful marketing campaigns, promoting live events, managing cross-channel content, and leveraging data-driven insights to drive growth.

Success in this role will be measured by ticket sales, audience engagement & development, and ROI across marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy

  • Plan and lead the execution of Venu’s overall live event marketing strategy. Including email and SMS communication, paid digital, influencer collaborations, social media management, media planning, and ticketing for the Halls, and occasionally Amphitheaters.
  • Manage multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive ticket sales, brand awareness, and audience engagement.
  • Collaborate with talent, sales, operations, and creative teams to ensure that all marketing efforts align with business goals and brand messaging.
  • Collaborate with operating partners to develop strategy for Venu’s Amphitheaters.
  • Manage the show launch process for all shows, ensuring deliverables are received on-time & ready for launch.
  • Provide marketing support for restaurants and private events as needed.

Email & SMS Marketing & Database Management

  • Oversee the creation and implementation of targeted email and SMS campaigns, focusing on segmentation, personalization, and engagement.
  • Lead the growth of the venue’s email and SMS databases, ensuring the delivery of engaging and relevant communications to various audience segments.
  • Analyze campaign performance data, providing insights and recommendations to continuously improve open rates, click-through rates, and overall effectiveness.

Content & Brand Management

  • Develop and maintain a content strategy that enhances venue brand presence across all platforms. Including websites, social media, email campaigns, and other promotional channels.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all customer touchpoints.
  • Oversee creation of digital and physical marketing assets, managing both external vendors and internal resources to deliver quality content.

Audience Engagement & Growth

  • Develop strategies and campaigns to expand the venue’s audience reach, through email marketing, social media, partnerships, street teams, and other digital efforts.
  • Lead initiatives to foster customer loyalty, encouraging repeat visits through personalized offers, exclusive event previews, and targeted promotions.
  • Leverage data analytics and customer insights to refine audience engagement strategies and drive measurable growth.

Ticketing

  • Oversee all marketing aspects of event ticketing for the Halls by optimizing event descriptions, SEO, and event graphics.
  • Analyze ticket sales daily to determine marketing initiatives for each ticketed event.

Analytics & Performance Tracking

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing campaigns.
  • Regularly analyze marketing performance, using data-driven insights for optimization.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance show marketing through testing, innovation, trends, and strategic adjustments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, with emphasis on email, social media management, and digital marketing strategy.
  • 2+ years of experience promoting live events.
  • Proven experience creating marketing plans and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, social media, digital advertising, and media planning).
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive marketing decisions and optimize campaign performance.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, project management skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, SEO, email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Hive), and digital advertising platforms (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads).
  • Familiarity using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), Canva, and video editing tools (CapCut, PremierePro).
  • Experience in the entertainment, hospitality, sports, or luxury sectors preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends to support live events.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, kneel, walk, balance, reach with hands and arms, use fingers and wrists, and talk and hear.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
