Russell Tobin's client is hiring a Brand Marketing Specialist in Reynoldsburg, OH

Employment Type: Contract

Location: Hybrid - Reynoldsburg, OH 43068

Pay rate: $40-$41/hr

Responsibilities:

In-Season Content Strategy – Full Price Communications

• Ensure pre-season strategies are executed consistently across all digital and store channels, including site, app, email, SMS/push, social, paid media, and in-store marketing.
• Maintain and update the Weekly Content Calendar and prepare for in-season briefings with channel and creative partners.
• Identify and execute fast-chase trend and cultural relevance opportunities, including influencer amplification.
• Partner with digital merchandising to support Weekly Edits and develop compelling site landing experiences.
• Review creative across channels to ensure alignment and accuracy prior to launch.

Hindsight to Action & Promotional Communications

• Participate in weekly business meetings to support in-season optimization (Monday hindsight + Tuesday action process)
• Compile seasonal performance hindsights and help develop consolidated marketing POVs to inform future strategy.
• Drive promotional storytelling strategies, including Gift With Purchase (GWP) initiatives.
• Ensure promotional best practices are consistently executed across digital and store marketing touchpoints.

Special Projects

• Support execution of special projects that connect brand strategy goals to seasonal storytelling.
• Assist with in-store signage execution and events as needed
• Contribute to pre-season storytelling initiatives.
• Serve as the brand store marketing liaison to ensure seamless omni-channel execution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
• 2–3 years of relevant experience (internship experience acceptable)
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines
• Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
