Job Summary:

The

Producer for Content

at Starkman & Associates is a passionate, solutions-oriented team player who can lead photo, video, and integrated content campaigns from initial brief to final delivery. This senior role will focus on bringing a wide range of creative campaigns to life, including still and motion content, editorial storytelling, talent-led brand shoots, and cross-platform brand marketing.

The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of content production—across both photo and video—and a robust network of crew, studios, post-production partners, and vendors. You’ll collaborate closely with internal creative, strategy, and account teams—while managing timelines, budgets, and relationships with talent, directors, editors, and clients.

This role is equal parts creative execution and logistical mastery. You’ll be expected to plan, oversee, and problem-solve on everything from location permitting and talent negotiations to post schedules and usage rights—all while ensuring each project reflects Starkman & Associates’ high standards and our clients’ brand worlds.

You’ll report to the Founder + Managing Director and help mentor junior producers, and contribute to a culture of creativity, excellence, and collaboration. This is a high-visibility role working with some of the most exciting names in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

Production Oversight:

  • Lead end-to-end production for brand content campaigns (photo, video, social, digital) across local and international markets
  • Oversee a wide range of creative output including editorials, campaign shoots, influencer-led content, social deliverables, and branded storytelling
  • Manage timelines, shoot schedules, post-production, rights and usage, and all necessary legal and logistical components
  • Maintain an organized system for administrative duties — bids, invoices, vendor coordination, release forms, and production documentation
  • Troubleshoot pre-production and on-set challenges with a calm, proactive approach

Crew, Talent & Vendor Management:

  • Source, vet, and manage creative partners including photographers, directors, editors, stylists, talent, and studios
  • Negotiate rates, contracts, and usage across production and post
  • Ensure quality control and brand alignment from pre-pro through final delivery

Client & Internal Communication:

  • Act as main production point of contact across internal and external teams
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with clients throughout each project
  • Support business development by contributing to scopes, timelines, and production strategy for pitches
  • Ensure all deliverables meets Starkman & Associates' standards and client expectations

Team Management & Growth:

  • Lead and mentor Producers, Coordinators, and Assistants on content-based projects
  • Help grow team infrastructure, streamline process, and elevate overall creative and production output
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance team environment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5–7 years experience producing photo and video content, ideally within a fashion, beauty, or lifestyle context
  • Agency Experience
  • A strong understanding of production processes across pre-production, shoot, and post
  • Proven ability to manage multi-faceted campaigns with budgets of $500,000+
  • Strong network of creative vendors and crew, including photographers, DPs, editors, and stylists
  • Client-facing communication skills; ability to represent the agency with clarity, warmth, and confidence
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Keynote, G-Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms), and familiarity with production tools (e.g., StudioBinder, WeTransfer, Frame.io)
