Carbon Fiber Music, Inc. home to Latin star Farruko, is a music and entertainment company specialized in the international Latin market. The company provides various artist and label services, such as talent management, artist development, marketing, and music publishing.

We are currently recruiting an intern for a Digital Marketing position for the summer/fall 2026 semester.

This will be an internship for college credit.

Responsibilities:

  • Online Advertising: Must know how to properly execute ad campaigns for Facebook and Instagram using Facebook's Business Manager. Knowledge of marketing on YouTube using Google AdWords and Snapchat's Ad Manager is a plus.
  • Social media strategy: Working with the social media coordinator and marketing director to devise the optimal strategy for growing the popularity and the fan bases of our artists. This requires continuous research into new platforms, features, and testing hypotheses for optimization.
  • Social media operation: Running the day-to-day social media accounts and platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Tik Tok etc.
  • Community management: Finding and partnering with unofficial fan-groups created for our artists. Creating relationships with the moderators and creating workflows and engagement strategies with them. Where no communities are found, they can be created by instituting the right super-fans and moderation policies.
  • Influencer Management: Finding, partnering, and engaging with social media influencers to maximize our exposure in the Latin Urban market. They can be involved in marketing campaigns, invited to shows, sent new music upon release and given responsibilities within our communities or on the social media accounts.
  • Release marketing: Working with the marketing teams to see how we can improve our release marketing, including blogs, sending releases to social influencers and so forth.
  • Tour marketing: Working with day-to-day management team to promote shows in the Latin Urban market by collaborating with the local promoters, hosting giveaways and meet & greets, engaging social influencers and creating marketing campaigns.
  • Growth Hacking: Knowledge of sales funnels and cutting-edge digital marketing techniques including search engine optimization, and email marketing platforms.

Requirements

  • Experience in the music industry: Understanding of copyright, music publishing and digital marketing. Music industry experience in writing or blogging are all bonuses.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of prior experience in digital marketing and social media management.
  • Proficient knowledge of Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music, and other audio streaming platforms' best practices.
  • Prior experience at a digital content services company or digital services provider preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the music industry and related social media news, trends, and the competitive landscape.
  • Conversational and written fluency in Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding and passion for Latin Urban music.
  • Excellent time-management, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and balance priorities.
  • Strong analytic skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
