About the job

MARKETING & SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST Remote (US & Canadian Applicants Only) | Full-Time / Contract

$65K–$80K + equity + performance bonus

HeartStamp is an AI-powered greeting card platform reinventing how people send heartfelt moments. Beautifully printed, hyper-personalized cards and invitations created with generative AI. We launch nationwide in weeks and need a hands-on marketing operator to translate strategy into daily execution across every channel. Leadership sets direction, you make it real.

Our core audience is millennial moms and gen-z gift-givers who care about meaningful, personal moments—birthdays, holidays, Mother’s Day, baby showers, and every occasion in between. You’ll need to understand this audience deeply and know where they spend time (hint: Pinterest is huge).

What You’ll Own

  • Organic social: daily content across Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook, and LinkedIn. You create, schedule, publish, and engage with followers.
  • Pinterest strategy: this is a critical channel for our audience. You’ll own pin creation, board strategy, seasonal content planning, and Pinterest Ads—driving discovery among millennial moms planning occasions.
  • Paid media: build and manage campaigns on Meta (FB/IG), Google (Search/Display/YouTube), TikTok Ads, and Pinterest Ads. Own budget allocation, A/B testing creative, and ROAS optimization.
  • SEO & content: keyword research, on-page optimization, blog posts, how-to guides, seasonal content calendars. Develop content strategies targeting high-intent queries (e.g., “personalized birthday cards,” “AI greeting cards”).
  • Creator/influencer management: identify, recruit, and manage micro-influencers and creators aligned with our brand. Handle outreach, negotiation, content deliverables, and ROI tracking. Build and maintain a creator database.
  • Community: represent HeartStamp authentically on Reddit, forums, and niche communities. Monitor brand mentions and sentiment.
  • Creative copy: ad headlines, social captions, email subject lines, video scripts, landing page copy, and push notifications. Fast, punchy, on-brand.
  • Coordinate with support team: you’ll have PPC specialists, content creators, and editors backing you up. You set direction, assign tasks, review output, and keep the machine running.

You Should Have

  • 3–6 years hands-on marketing execution across social, paid, SEO, and content (not just strategy—you’ve pressed “publish” thousands of times)
  • Proven Meta Ads Manager + Google Ads experience with direct budget responsibility and measurable ROAS
  • Pinterest fluency: you understand the platform as a discovery engine, not just “another social channel.” Experience with Pinterest organic and/or Pinterest Ads is a strong plus.
  • Strong copywriting: you can write an ad, a blog post, and a TikTok script with equal confidence
  • Working knowledge of SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console) and social management tools (Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later, Buffer)
  • Comfortable with analytics (Google Analytics, platform-native dashboards) and data-driven decision making
  • Self-starter who ships fast, iterates on data, and doesn’t wait for perfection
  • Portfolio or examples of past campaigns with measurable results (we want to see real KPIs, not just pretty screenshots)

Bonus Points

  • Startup or early-stage experience where you wore many hats and built marketing from scratch.
  • D2C, ecommerce, gifting, stationery, or occasion-driven commerce background.
  • Experience marketing to millennial moms or the gifting/occasions audience.
  • Influencer/creator partnership experience with demonstrated ROI.
  • Video creation/editing (CapCut, Premiere, Canva Video)
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Sendgrid)
  • Comfort with AI tools and AI-powered product positioning.

Fair Warning If you aren’t scrappy, tenacious, and passionate, this opportunity is NOT for you. We’re looking for someone who is great at managing contractors, isn’t a 9-to-5’er clocking in and out, and genuinely wants to build something that matters. This is a startup—we move fast, we wear hats that don’t fit, and we figure it out. If that excites you, then let's hear from you.

Apply Send your resume, a brief cover letter (no AI generation please) showcasing the brands/companies you’ve worked with (with portfolio links), and 2–3 specific KPIs from past campaigns to careers@heartstamp.com . Interviewing and hiring for this role during the week of March 2-9.
