The Marketing Specialist works out DuPont’s Experimental Station in Wilmington, DE and is responsible for the day-to-day integration, and quality of marketing execution for Corian® Design in North America.
This position ensures marketing initiatives are coordinated, execution-ready, and delivered with consistency across Marketing Communications, Digital, Sales, and distributor partners. As a cross-functional connector, the role helps turn strategy into action, keeping programs on track and aligned so they land cleanly in the market. The role leads execution for assigned marketing programs and workstreams, supports distributor marketing operating rhythms, contributes to market research and insight development, and provides routine execution integration across Marketing Communications, Digital, Sales, and Channel partners. As part of execution leadership, the role provides ongoing quality and readiness oversight of marketing outputs prior to activation.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Program & Execution Leadership
- Lead day-to-day execution and integration of assigned marketing programs or workstreams in alignment with defined plans and priorities.
- Ensure execution adheres to priorities, milestones, and deliverables established in the annual marketing plan.
- Drive execution discipline, readiness, and follow-through across assigned initiatives.
- Support execution of additional priority initiatives under the direction of the Marketing Leader where closer involvement or escalation is required.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Marketing Communications, Digital, Sales, and Channel partners to ensure execution readiness.
Execution Integration & Quality Oversight
- Provide routine integration and quality oversight of marketing assets, collateral, and messaging as part of program execution.
- Ensure materials reflect approved positioning, segment priorities, and brand standards prior to activation.
- Recommend refinements or escalate issues as needed to support execution quality and consistency.
- Approve select deliverables within defined guardrails as experience and trust are established; escalate exceptions or high-risk items as appropriate.
Distributor Marketing
- Own the monthly distributor joint marketing meeting (DJMM).
- Develop agendas, integrate content, and ensure meetings align to priority segments, initiatives, and execution milestones.
- Coordinate preparation of materials and inputs in advance of meetings.
- Track actions and follow-ups to ensure continuity and execution across cycles.
Market Research & Insight Support
- Support market research initiatives, including coordination, data collection, and synthesis.
- Assist in translating insights into practical inputs for campaigns, enablement tools, and program refinement.
- Prepare summaries and materials that support Marketing Leader decision-making.
Influencer / KOL Execution Support
- Support execution of influencer and key opinion leader (KOL) initiatives as assigned, ensuring activities align with defined objectives, brand standards, and engagement guardrails.
Execution Leverage & Coordination
- Ensure execution tasks, materials, logistics, and readiness checks are complete and aligned prior to escalation.
- Maintain execution discipline, follow-through, and consistency across initiatives.
Success Measures
- Consistent, high-quality execution of marketing plan initiatives.
- Strong execution readiness across programs and distributor activations.
- Reduced execution coordination and review burden on the Marketing Leader.
- Effective cross-functional alignment and follow-through.
- Reliable delivery of marketing initiatives with minimal rework or escalation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2–5 years of experience in B2B marketing, commercial marketing, or related field.
- Strong organizational and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Ability to present clearly and professionally to internal and distributor-facing audiences.
- Experience working in a commercial or distributor-driven environment preferred.
